great advice as always bro, thank you for this. millions of videos telling you how to tell on takealot, but not enough telling us about what happens afterwards. just started selling low ticket items myself, but calculating over 20% profit margin, lots of advice online said anything over 15% is good. fingers crossed these parents buy their spoiled kids more stuff, and my stuff xD

Now that you've answered the question I had for you with regards to low ticket products, I'd love to find out when there's fire sale or whatsoever sale at Takealot, do they advise you to stop the price or the platform does it and you get all your earnings?
Question number 2 how does it work if I want to sell personalised custom products?
When there’s a fire sale, they will adjust the price for you automatically. And yes you keep all the profits. You can sell your own custom products, as long as they are in line with all the product requirements and limitations for Takealot

does amazon being launched in South Africa affect your business Takealot in anyway?
Definitely. In the beginning I thought a lot would ditch Takealot, to buy on Amazon as it has a bigger reputation and might have larger sellers at lower prices. But it currently isn’t the case. However, it’s more an opportunity than a threat, cause now you can sell on both Takealot & Amazon as a seller. It’s also a great indication that e-commerce is growing in South Africa. If you know how to sell on Takealot, it’s easy to get familiar with selling on Amazon.

You can either collect it yourself or book with your courier to collect it for you
Can I sell things from aliexpress or cj dropshipping at takelot
What happens if Takealot delivers the wrong products and it gets returned? Do you still get charged or not?
You still get charged for delivery if the customer chooses to return it
