Some of my drums covers after (certainly not all of them) started to sound really good and I was super happy with my results. Watched it twice and played it through my car stereo on the way to work Bryan. This definitely sounds record quality! Drum mix is beastly and timing is perfect! That kick sound is so punchy! Is that from the Death and Darkness SDX?? I’m liking it! Now to get your toms as “in your face” and that will be the perfect metal kit. Nice work
Mike, I miss your covers man -COME BACK SOON! But nah, I have all these SDX's and I still mainly use the core library. This is the same kick as way back to my first cover using SD3, just this time I really focused on improving that sound. It's a shame you don't like the tom sound though. I did struggle trying to find a good, not boomy, floor tom and while it's not boomy, it lacks that in the face sound. Thanks for checking out the cover twice. Metal to the core! 🤘
