I have very fond memories of doing this walk with my very good Dutch friend Wilco who sadly passed away a few years ago. He loved the Scottish mountains and planned to retire here. Brilliant vlog Ally i really enjoyed that, brought back some good memories, great editing and lots of info 👍 i can relate to the pain you felt after the 9 at Glenshee 😢 we started off in the wind and snow ❄️ and ended up finishing in blazing sunshine ☀️ after doing the 6 and crossing the the road and heading directly up Carn Aosda 🏔️ i was a broken man 😢 but managed to soldier 🪖 on and finish all 9, like you certainly one of my toughest days in Scotland's Mountain's but we lived to tell the tale 😂 new subscriber and looking forward to catching up on your back catalogue, good luck with the Cairngorms 🏔️ atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian thanks for taking time to view the video, really enjoyed lochnagar and the others the views were great and the weather stayed good , the drive up the side of the river dee and up the glen was great aswell, was good to have the carpark with the toilet block aswell for staying over night. The glenshee 9 just about broke me. I ran out off water on the way up Carn Aosda and the heat was getting to me but managed to get them done . Hopefully, you will enjoy the other videos really enjoying making them showing the great mountains we have . ATB Ally 👍
Another cracker Ally👍 that morning light was beautiful, I much prefer to get an early start to my hikes. Beautifully edited again. We did them the opposite way as the clag was there early doors but clearing for the afternoon and we wanted the views from lochnagar which we got. A fantastic mountain.👍 Enjoyed that Ally.
