      Yeah I was pretty impressed with the size of that Franco . I am going to pick up a 3 mm 18 karat next.

    Man I bet a 2.5mm 22” rope would look beautiful with that 24” 3.5 franco

    I have the 5.5 in 18K with 24” length. It seems a touch long. I’m going to get a 3.5mm in 18K but 22” length. That will be my daily wear.

    Clean set up. Debating between 3.5 or 4mm Franco . Jumping up to the 4mm price sure jumps to.

      3.5mm is pretty big. Almost same size as my 5mm rope to be honest. Look close at video. I'm doing a 22" 18k 3mm or 3.5mm next. As the dollar is getting weaker, I'm buying more gold chains under the current administration. Who knows what's going to happen

      @@gphunkera8731 I really like the 3mm 18k 22" for work. The 3.5 is a lot bigger, plus it's 24" so it can get on the way when being active. I'm going to sell my 3.5mm 24" 14k, and go with a 22" 3.5mm 18k. Think they are both good options. Depending on your budget.

    Awesome review did anyone actually measure the millimeters thick??? I keep hearing these 3.5mm are really measuring out to a 4mm Franco??? Especially the weight?? I did the math I believe Jacoje 3.5 mm is the same as anyone else’s normal 4 mm Franco?? Please help!

      @@goldentrucker7921 thank you so much for answering this question at the end of the day you really can’t get a 3.5 mm Franco in for someone like me that’s looking for the exact measurement that doesn’t work. So it’s either 3 mm measuring 3 mm or 3.5mm measuring 4!!!

    How's the weight for everyday wear? Thinking about the same chain in 18kt but that's over 60 grams

    • @goldentrucker7921
      @goldentrucker7921  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @andigo banks it's great .For me personally I kind of feel like somewhere around the 40 g mark would be perfect for an everyday chain. That's for work or just chillin.. I think I'm going to upgrade my 2.5 Franco to a 3mm 22" 18k. The 2.5mm 14k is a little too lightweight. But fells good with the little pendant I have.

    Nice chain, fam! 💥🚀 How are you digging the 3.5mm Franco at this point?
    I leaning towards 20” 3mm dc Franco 18k white gold. I have a 20” 2mm dc Franco 18k white gold that I wear solely with a pendant. It is about 15g. The 3mm Franco is ~30.4g so that is a nice jump in weight for only going up 1mm. It is a nice size and weight for an everyday, stand-alone chain. That being said, the 3.5mm dc Franco 18k white gold is tempting (~53.5g), but I don’t want to drop that kind of coin. It’s crazy the jump in total grams going up 1/2mm in the Francos, especially in 18k. I could get 3.5mm dc Franco in 14k white gold (~44.7g), but I am pretty much set on 18k white gold. Argh, what a dilemma!
    I only do white gold jewelry and prefer 18k for the extra density and heft. And subtle flex as you stated. Jacoje has an informative video on TH-cam - 14 vs. 18k white gold. Braden’s quote nails the description of 18k white gold:
    “More gold around the neck for that spec”
