      good idea! perhaps a jig that slides easily along the work piece for repeated holes.. we'll see!

    That's pretty inventive, clever and I can definitely see it being petty useful. I'd definitely claim intellectual property rights on the idea. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that.

      Probably couldn't get IP on this as it's an iteration but you could sell some plans for 3D printing that would be really cool

    maybe fitting a star shaped type locking washer down near the ends of your dowels will bite into the work piece and keep it on better. Say ........ washers 100-150 thou wider diameter than the rods? the spikes of the washer would bite in
