It might be like how it is in assetto where you can just take your foot off the gas and shift and then get back in the power however you still need the clutch to downshift just like the 787B so idk 🤷♂️
If I'm not mistaken, it has a 6 gear semi-automatic sequential gearbox with pedal clutch that should be used only when the clutch itself is cold and when the car is at low engine speed, after 1 or 2 laps of warm up the driver can change gears like a modern car with sequential gearbox. Whilst this sounds like a V6, it doesn't sound like it revs anywhere near ~12k RPM. The real car absolutely screams and has a very distinctive sound, but unfortunately this doesn't. This sound is almost quite generic which is disappointing
@@olavofernandes7286 I'm not sure what recording methods they were using then, if they've apparently recorded a car and ended up with a completely different sound for it. If they genuinely did record it then that's disappointing for Polyphony. It sounds very inaccurate
@@olavofernandes7286 yeah that's not a valid excuse though. if it sounds more realistic when you artificially generate the sound then go ahead. makes 0 sense to use recorded sounds from real life if the recording is sh-t or you can't seem to be able to digitalize the actual sound and it comes out sounding stupid. I have this issue with tons of cars in GT, barely see any improvement over GT Sport which massacred the sounds of several sick cars, I always loved that there are cars which take ages to aquire but I don't wanna get vietnam flashbacks of spending millions of ingame credits on cars that I had to sell right away because their engine sounds were worse than a 5 year old child imitating engine sounds in GT 5. Playing hundreds of hours to get credits and then buy a car that's completely worthless and no fun because it sounds terrible and absolutely nothing like the real life counterpart. No thank you. I would've bought this game at release if they had fixed the engine sounds or at least made major improvements.

Mazda running rotary had nothing to do with it. Check the rest of the ‘91 season races, Mazda wasn’t able to even reach top 10 in all of the other races, that Le Mans win was won by being the last car standing. Their performance was lightyears behind Saubers, Jaguars and Porsche’s.

I play it every day - it’s a fun game, physics are not very accurate or consistent, especially for mr cars in my opinions. Sometimes it feels like the road covered in ice and you slide so easy in some cars. In GT sport I didn’t have this problem.
During the gameplay it sounds inaccurate and I have driven the same car in AC and that’s definitely better than GT7 although it’s not bad. But during the replay it actually sounds decent 😊
Hey peeps, when you shift gears with a controller in a manual car you would expect a proper sound when shifting (automatic clutch), but it kind of sounds like shifting gears in a normal car without taking your foot of the petrol. Is this on the known issues list perhaps? Its quite annoying to have to lift the petrol pedal all the time for it to sound right. Maybe im missing a setting?
that could happen if you are using stock clutch and flywheel or when your gear ratio is too high.. try purchasing racing clutch and shortening your gear ratio

Most of the team that built this car came directly from Lancia Rally, because FIAT could never afford two racing teams at that time (and even because most of FIAT managements were turds in suit) . That's the reason why Lancia left Rally and never went back. Being Alfa and Lancia fan this for me is very sad.
i'm still waiting for Rockstars to implement driving aspects from racing games into GTA. Just combined GTA with Forza or GT and Microsoft Flight Sim in massive multiplayer. After that i do not need another game , just more content for that kind of game

Tu devrais travailler très entrées en virage, tu freines trop souvent alors que tu es déjà à la corde. Ça peut servir mais pas dans toutes les courbes. Du coup tu ralentis tes sorties.
The sound in replay mode is wrong, in a flyby you first hear the lower pitched induction noise and when the car passes you then you hear the high pitched exhaust note. In the game is reversed
@@olavofernandes7286 He didn't say it sounds bad, he sais it sounds terribly wrong. You can simultaneously have a decent sounding car that has a horribly wrong engine sound. It doesn't need to sound bad to completely ruin immersion, it just has to sound unrealistic or unbefitting for the car that you're trying to imagine yourself driving. In GT Sport I actually don't have many cars that sound 100% right, a lot of them don't sound bad and very few were massacred but at least half of them don't sound realistic at all, even if they claim they recorded the sounds in real life.

love the graphics, dont like the reverb'd sound. not surprised tho, GT has never got the sound right. Dirt Rally 1&2 has best engine sounds ive ever heard. And the occasional car in the Forza series sounds great too. This is how i make my decision on which car to select; how it sounds.

A little bit the one on gt2 has a higher pitch sound which made this car nice even though it's a bit slow compared to the others

It sounds different from what I remember in it's prime days of use. Its pitch was pretty close to an F1 screaming at high rpms, which is super loud.

You can change it if you play with the cockpit view, don't remember where tho.
Yes, while driving you can go to display settings and change the camera options....Put it to 1,0,near for more dynamism
I was getting the same feeling and I don't know if it fixed it but tighten up the suspension a tiny bit
i also noticed the car movement seem a bit stiff, not so dynamic, so we get this weird feeling of detachment

LG 27UK850-W, but I used a capture card to record this gameplay, so that's why it sound and look good.
The sound in replay mode is wrong, in a flyby you first hear the lower pitched induction noise and when the car passes you then you hear the high pitched exhaust note. In the game is reversed

Try listening with headphone it acutully sounds nice
@@olavofernandes7286 He didn't say it sounds bad, he sais it sounds terribly wrong. You can simultaneously have a decent sounding car that has a horribly wrong engine sound. It doesn't need to sound bad to completely ruin immersion, it just has to sound unrealistic or unbefitting for the car that you're trying to imagine yourself driving. In GT Sport I actually don't have many cars that sound 100% right, a lot of them don't sound bad and very few were massacred but at least half of them don't sound realistic at all, even if they claim they recorded the sounds in real life.

love the graphics, dont like the reverb'd sound. not surprised tho, GT has never got the sound right.
Dirt Rally 1&2 has best engine sounds ive ever heard.
And the occasional car in the Forza series sounds great too.

Nobody has noticed that the gameplay has ray tracing, when only in replay mode it is available
No ray tracing in this video, game was played in prioritise frame rate mode.
The GT7 sound effects is 2 generations still behind....
I disagree, they are just not good on all cars, now they can easily compete with forza, thats use to be way ahead
