I'll give this 8/10 score. Less 1 point for not using a bigger enclosure to integrate the voltage indicator. Another less 1 point for that mains electrical cord you made a knot outside the enclosure. This is one of the best project i've seen but if you made this one a regulated powersupply that's excellent. My main issue are those two points i mentioned earlier. Good job!

The electrolytic capacitor is a bit small in your design, the rule of thumb is 2200uF/A . So a 4700uF / 50V would be a better choice. Also some small caps (100nF) around the regulator will prevent oscillation. For the rest nice work.

You can increase its power output by using a power transistor used in old model inverters. 2N3055 transistor is easily found in electronics component shops. You can make a good lab power supply to power your projects from 0-35 volts. Dual power supply is also a great idea.👍
