I dig that these independent brands are really doing their things and bringing back important aspects of basketball sneakers even some of the big brands miss. I think I’d be the Howitzer in Jingle All The Way. Who doesn’t want to become a super hero at the end! His kid is so proud of him, his wife gets the hots for him all over again (y’all see her reaction when she saw him in the suit???) that’s such a great movie! Underrated in my opinion

I would love to see more brands take what worked in the golden era of hoop shoes (i.e., 90s) - real leather paneling, carbon fiber shank, more durable outsoles that will last outdoors - and make them as fluid-feeling underfoot as modern offerings. The LeBron 21 with it's leather upper proved that it can be done, but I think it could be even more ...

The shoe name is the EVO Bounce. The colorway was called the Chuck for obvious inspiration reasons. Not really anything different than what every other brand does.
