In this video, we will see how our new Solar VFD that runs a regular 1 HP water pump using just one 550-watt solar panel.
The 550-watt solar panel captures sunlight and converts that into electrical energy. The output of the solar panel is of a type called DC; that's not suitable for driving a regular AC water pump. It has to be converted to AC. This is done by the Solar VFD.
Solar VFD is really the heart of our system. It converts the output of the Solar panel into AC so that it can drive the water pump.
Now the power generated by the solar panel is not fixed; it varies according to the sunshine that is available. The Solar VFD uses a technique called Variable Frequency Drive - in short known as VFD - that automatically adjusts the power output of the water pump according to the solar energy that is available. This ensures that the water pump keeps working for a long time - as long as there is sunshine.
Here are some of the main benefits of using the Solar VFD :
1) Our Solar VFD works with just a single solar panel and is, therefore, very economical. Conventional VFD systems require a string of solar panels, and are more expensive.
2) It is very easy to setup as there is just one solar panel to be connected. So easy that you could set it up yourself!
3) It adjusts the pump's output automatically, ensuring that it works even with little sunshine.

I suppose you can accommodate 2 x 330 w panels as the size of A 550W panel is rather too big to handle
We too have a different model that supports 2 x 330w panels.
Can it work with a fridge during the day only?
Certainly, yes!
Great, what's the price? I assume it takes 36 to 42vdc from solar panel side And is a device available for 1hp pump?
Yes, it works with a solar panel with MPPT voltage of 42V. It can drive any 0.5HP or 1HP pump (even submersible pump). For best quotation, please contact SSS Electronics: sss1elect@gmail.com
Can it drive a 1 hp borewell pump ??
Yes, It can run a 1HP borewell pump.
