Unfortunately, Taeyeon said in an interview, i think last year, that she is not good at multi-tasking, which is required in a musical cause you have sing, act and dance at the same time. Which is why she feels that she is not suitable for musicals and haven't taken on any musicals since then); I really hope that she gets her own music show where she gets to perform live in front of a small audience or go back to radio DJing, since that's what she said she likes most;)

Yes, maybe other singers have higher vocal range than her, but being a vocalist doesn't mean hitting high notes. Taeyeon's voice really has magic in it. But I don't want to offend the singers who are like that. I think people should be appreciative for these soft, mellow and emotional vocals just as well. Heck, some of the greatest singers I know didn't have those abilities but had strong lungs and didn't overpower their voice. It was simplistic in a way^^
