- In this third day of the adventure I leave with the guide to discover the lost city of Sefar with its thousands of cave paintings. In a leaden silence, we discover through the maze of stone the presence of an ancient civilization which has left its mark through millennial paintings.
Sefar is a real labyrinth, the presence of a guide is mandatory.
At the end of the day at the camp, we had a visit from a jackal, unfortunately I didn't had time to film it :(

Some details about this trip:
The trip to the set took place from September 26, 2019 to October 1, 2019.
I booked this solo trip through the Imessoukal Voyages agency, which organized everything from start to finish, a big thank you to Tahar Marmouri.
The team consisted of a guide (Hamid Housseyni), a cook (Khaled Hamdaoui), the donkey driver (Mohamed) and his son (Achour).

The guy filming, is fast breathing and sounds exhausted. Meanwhile the guide enjoys an easy walk, wearing sandals and making it look so easy!!!! These desert people are really admirable! When the guide was far, I thought " you loose him, you die". Great video! Thanks for posting.

This is the spookiest place on the planet, and how anybody knows where they are going is a mystery ! You can hear the camera man struggling & getting out of breath yet the leader is bouncing along like a gazelle ! Imagine being alone in such a place ! That looks like Oleander by the water hole , and one beetle crawling on the sandy floor ! And then we discover people living in the middle of this place ? I was wondering if there was any end to this rocky desert, or if the guide knows his way back to where they started from ? An astonishing place ! Thank you - a view I could never see without your video !

The cameraman is probably out of shape (so he likes your comment to blame the rugged terrain instead). It's not all that difficult to get your bearings in such landscape, as long as it's not noon (nobody goes out at noon) then the sun will be your reference depending on time of the day it'll point to a known cardinal direction. You don't have to remember the rocks or anything just get used to navigate by the sun and time of day.

Llama la atención,: "El Fantasma" en la roca.., minuto 17,20.., justo al costado izquierdo del guía, al fondo, incrustado en el pliege de la roca. Al hacer "captura de pantalla" se puede analizar la imagen,: Impactante...! - Por cierto, un hermoso aporte el de este video ...!! 🥶...!!!

Amazing rock formations, you would never think of how many people used to live in the deserts.
Thanks to social media due to which through your video we could witness what we never thought of such difficult terrains on this most vibrant beautiful earth planet otherwise we remain engrossed with our environment and the rest we read only in geography's books but cannot see with our own eyes. Thanks for the difficult hardships you naturally have faced. I am from India's hilly state Uttarakhand.

El guía parece que va a echar a volar de un momento a otro de lo ligero que va ...y con tanto refajo. Están bien adaptados a esa belleza tan difícil.
Y lo que aguantan al sol,su piel tan morena,porque allí bronceadores para la piel,pocos.
Oui et respect à l'état qui leur a laissé la liberté de gérer l'endroit, il est resté en l'état personne n'y a touché et c'est cela le secret. Il doit y avoir du pétrole là dedans mais la SONATRACH n'a jamais voulu toucher à ces terres féériques. Nos politiques ne sont pas parfaits loin de là mais la gérance du Tassili entre autres endroits du Sahara est très intelligente.

L'endroit est magnifique, merci pour la visite! Ça vaut les pyramides et ça vaut Dubai. Une richesse inestimable à préserver soigneusement.
Elle est préservée justement pas de tourisme de masse, elle est restée à l'état naturel préservée par ses habitants, la meilleure chose à faire L'état ne s'immisce pas dans la vie des Touaregs propriétaires de l'endroit, ils sont nomades, ils veulent rester libres et c'est respecté par l'état, voilà le secret de la préservation de ce trésor. La nature en Algérie est préservée car pas de projets grandioses de béton qui gâchent le paysage. Avant les gens croyaient que si l'Algérie n'optait pas pour le tourisme de masse elle était perdante avec le temps on se rend compte que nous y avons bcp gagné. Des touristes individuels ou par petits groupes oui mais des complexes et des hôtels qui défigurent les endroits c'est non et al hamdoulilah.

Oui c'est a préservé et heureusement que c'est en Algérie car dans d'autre pays ca serait infesté de touriste, plateau de cinéma ect...
@@foulouz9141 Exactement, wallah même si on a des gouvernants incompétents mais dans ce domaine ils ont tjs bien fait de pas développer le tourisme de masse, al hamdoulilah. Et le pire dans le tourisme de masse c'est les personnes perverses (pour être polie) qui font du tourisme pervers. y a qu'à voir ce qui se passe au Maroc où les enfants sont utilisés dans des choses qu'on peut même pas nommer. Des familles misérables vendent leurs filles aux riches du khalidj, perso j'espère ne jamais voir mon pays infesté par ces monstres.

The rocky city of Sivar, the wonder of the world, found strange drawings inside it, people wearing diving clothes, compounds similar to those we see in fictional films, and there are many secrets within this city. It was not discovered located southeast of Algeria. Very vast in the same shape🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
Algeria's Desert is the biggest part of the Arabian Sahara, and the most hauntighly beautiful!
Loved it. Am fascinated that long ago people left us their stories. Sometimes visitors try to put dates which go back thousands of years. Others even millions. Who am I to question the wisdom of scientific dating? Well, in my 6th grade I went to a UK school from PNG and was shown “algebraic graphs”. Clearly the students around me knew what that meant. I had no idea what algebra was let alone a graph! But basic arithmetic and subsequent graphs I did know then and still love them. And when I lookup census data I see Wikipedia already has a graph based on accepted figures. From that graph I see what lies ahead, and that is alarming and means only one logical outcome. When I graph back, although geology and fauna go back far enough to produce oil and coal, our original mother (mine wasn’t an ape) goes back to 5-6 thousand years only. And this indicates survivors of a deluge which accounts for snap freezing of mammoths in far North and also immense knowledge in mathematics (Babylonian and Grecian) and astronomy (Egypt Inca). Science has constantly changed but what the earth shows us has not.
It needs great patience , endurance & courage to walk all alone among these stoney ghosts.

that's some of the most incredible geology I've ever seen. But I can't imagine walking over this plateau in SANDALS.
Salam alikoum wa rahmatullah baarak Allahoufik d'avoir partagé avec nous une partie de ton voyage. On y découvre un paysage magnifique Allah y baarak. Notre pays est tellement beau 😍. On réalise à quel point la création d'Alllah est époustouflante. C'est vraiment super de ne pas avoir mus de musique ou autre . On avait l'impression de marcher avec vous , on ressentais presque la chaleur du soleil LOL !
L'absence de musique met en évidence un silence qui vous parle !
Endroit magique avec un ciel bleu pur et ses rochers couleur or.
Les touaregs sont de véritables boussoles humaines. Ils m'impressionnent beaucoup dans leur déplacement à travers cette immensité qu'est le beau Sahara algérien !

It is so rare and exceptional… showing these for just a little longer would be very much appreciated by those of us who will never be able to visit these amazing locations. Thanks for your comment. There are no restrictions for filming. It was just my mistake that I didn't filmed longer, although I took a lot of pictures. I'm going to different areas of the Tassili this year so I will film longer this time and take a lot of pictures. Cheers :)

Absolutely a wonderful, beautiful treat, thank you. What is the black rock? It's very interesting, sometimes it looks like its been nuked and then the rock melted. Other times it looks vitreous, like glass. Mesmerizing.

Nope, not scared at all, I knew that I was with a professional guide. I just had to follow him closely and he was also very attentive about me. Sometimes I wanted to have a walk around our camp, he would get up from his rest and follow me closely where I wanted to go.

Cataclysmic! Awesome boots on ! It appears that a once huge city made mainly of brick and plaster was hit from above with tremendous heat. Vitrification is visible on the ground. Bricks above appear “melted”. Boulders are buildings melted and turned over. Concave indentations along lower sections may have been from flood waters, or weapon detention from above. The Phoenix weapon perhaps. Thanks for a great share!

Interesting view. that is fairly widely reported. Just for my benefit (& perhaps others?), would you mind sharing the sources & arguments relating to the melting & vitrification of "BRICKS" as opposed to some kind of volcanic rocks?

If life ever throws a trip to to Colorado and Wyoming at you, you might enjoy filming Adobe Town: an extensive badland in southern Wyoming that is largely unknown to the world. It would feel a bit like walking around Sefar, though the rocks are gray and white, and some of the eroded cliffs are much taller! There are wild horses and rattlesnakes for an animal element, and fossils too!

For more information this is unlike anything u've ever seen on earth of rockes and cave in the desert, it's 72000 Km2 area this is just a neighbourhood is the city of sefar "tassili n'ajjer plateau" in ALGERIA; there is places even locales touareg never come to explore.
