I went years without using and making templates for myself but kept on seeing my friends use them on their photoshop and Adobe projects. It’s seriously a game changer.
Thanks dude. Glad to share my knowledge. I save sounds and instrument mostly but I’m currently putting together a project template for sampling and another one for producing with VSTs.
Great video but QUESTION!!! How do you save a chain of plug-in effects AND they’re macro organization together? When I save them as a group, they all save. But when I try to load a different kit or other group, all of my plug-ins and mapped macros disappear and am left with the default group settings. Any way around this?
Good question! Unfortunately not. Nor can you open multiples of maschine as standalone. But you can if you were to use it as a plugin within a DAW such as Logic. Depending on how large your project is you can save the individual groups and open them up within a “master project” combining them together. (Saving groups also saves patterns).
@@BarryDanielMusic Reverse engineering; a lot of the Expansion/Base projects have GREAT kits and sound selection with FX chains too and they sound beautiful. I’ve been studying how they’ve been constructed and pulling my favorite sounds/groupings thinking maybe I could add/modify them to my own projects or even use them as a template or song starter!
That’s actually such a great idea! I’ll sometimes use the patterns for my drums but good thinking about the FX chains. I’ll have to be more conscious about saving ones I like. Thanks for the great idea bro!
What's an essential plugin that you have in your Maschine Template? For me it's FabFilter Pro-Q3.
very straightforward and well done..i’ve been on maschine for years and im gonna start using this 👑👊🏾
That’s awesome man. A lot of people get stuck in their ways. Keep learning and growing 👊
Everyone needs to make more Template videos. I've seen too few, for ALL DAWs. Thanks for this awesome video, brother!

@@BarryDanielMusic Thank you!! That 2nd tip wasn’t insightful! I will try that today
No problem. I’m curious though. What’s the reason you’re looking to combine projects?
