😪 I've been clean for years and my sister still won't speak to me! For the love of God , talk to her, tell her you love her, believe in her, it might make a huge difference in her life right now! It's sad and very lonely, when you have family that won't acknowledge you!
Jazzlyn... Please make every effort to go and talk to her. Put all the hurt pain worry shes caused anyone on the back burner. She fighting for her life and the addiction is in control. She needs family as your family needs her.
I made the mistake of giving up on someone and she was killed violently. Please. Dont choose the path I did.

She’s lovely and presents herself as a genuinely good person that’s hurting and trying not to, but made a wrong decision that isn’t easy to get out of. I hope and pray the best for her, that she gets clean, firstly that she wants to get clean, and reunited with people who love her and if she’s lost everyone that was dear to her, I hope some angel of a person takes her under their loving wing and shows her love and respect and dignity. ❤️
Love your content. It's a look back at my life for many years. The people who are overlooked or looked down upon are often times really amazing people who just likely have mental illness, extremely addicted, traumatized even with all that they're human no different than anybody else and it easily can happen to anybody. Addiction doesn't disseminate in the slightest. Blessed to be clean 39 months

Keep trying Monica, the road to recovery is a bumpy one....that is not an excuse for relapse...it's just how it is. When I was struggling I asked a support worker "what is the key to getting clean and staying clean". They replied "surround yourself with the right people and put so many positive things in your life that you are no longer willing to lose them". Much peace to you Monica.

It can be done. 30 years+ of using. Started in Holmseburg in 88.stopped 12 yrs ago. Dying from the years of abuse. Stage 4 hepatic cirrhosis. But im good now. . Wish her prayers.

Your interviews are getting better And better its really important you give addicts a human side everyone relates to. People need to realize there possibly go You. These are peoples Mothers ,Daughters,Sons ,Nephews, Grandchildren And So on. 25 or more Years out there myself And now 3 years Clean. It can be Done !!!

I'm gonna say some things that I found to be unpopular. God will do for us what we can't do for ourselves. With us addicts it isn't a question of IF we'll get high again but WHEN we'll get high again. If that's the case and we admit it we must take the 12 steps. The first sentence in How It Works says "Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path..." what path is that? The 12 steps. So when we admit that we're powerless and that no human power could relieve us, because God knows they've tried, then we accept that God can and will

Frank, I keep thinking listening to this beautiful young woman, I hope Frank told her about that shot she can get, that totally stops the craving She wants to stop but can't stop the craving and from what you said it helped you and I recently saw a tape on u tube and it was about a man who goes all over , in the country in up state Pa. to give people that shot and it has kept him clean and the hundreds of others he travels to help in up state Pa. Oh how I wish my beautiful niece had found that shot before she lost her life. I hope this woman can lose that strong craving and get back to her children. Thank you for the interviews It makes people aware of how many good people are stuck in the horrible addiction. They are not bad people and its so good for people to see that . But for the grace of God, it could be any one of us.

one of my favorite interviews, i love her! she’s a sweetheart and so intelligent. she knows she’s ultimately in God’s hands, acknowledging this encounter as orchestrated by God. something we as addicts still need to figure out is why we feel the need to indulge in our drug of choice.. i think we as children of parents that abuse drugs/alcohol we want to understand why our parents & grandparents choose these substances over us.
family members and friends passed away because of addictions.

Ugh what she said “she wants to get rid of that WANT” I felt that shit for yearrrrrr I would ask people in recovery when does this want feeling go away n they always told me never u just learn how to control it but it was hard and I think that one of the reasons why I kept going back because u just feel like this is gonna be my life for ever .. but it def does get easier and it’s worse it

@Lindsay Fitzgerald the WANT does go away with time! For me it was lifted (but it took a lot of time) and I know for others as well. Keep going and congratulations on all you've achieved :)
N.a. meetings are the only way to take the want away for me. Ive tried over and over to stay clean but kept using and failing at every aspect og my life. This time I went to rehab and took the time to learn how people do get and stay clean. I listened and practiced the things that worked for others. I go to meetings daily and have been clean since May 13th 2020. I habe been watching these videos too and they do help. Life is so much more rewarding now and I have hope that gets better and easier with each meeting where it feels it is becoming apart of my life.
Monica was my neighbor growing up. She is a wonderful person and mother. She just fell into the bad trap of addiction. Praying for you Monica and hoping you get clean. Your family and friends love you❤

I pray to God she gets it sooner rather than later. Right behind where she stands I copped for years and my last time around there was literally in 2019 cause I was so far gone that I was injecting into my legs and the drugs began to eat at my flesh and it got worse and worse to the point my bones were exposed in both legs from the knee caps down to the ankles. The embarrassment would not allow me to go to a hospital and the drugs had me believing that I could heal them no matter how bad I was smelling and looking. I finally lost both legs in October of last year and it was my rock bottom. God please I hope she doesn't have to face a tragedy before stopping or that she at least lives to see a rock bottom as opposed to passing. Im in emotional pain watching this. She sounds so intelligent considering the situation and she is beautiful. So I can imagine how much more pretty she is clean and sober💗😢
That's a powerful testimony Millie I use to skin pop too but I never lost any limbs but I have horrible embarassing scars that look terrible and unpleasant but I'm just thankful I got DELIVERED and dont live that LIE ANYMORE. JESUS IS KING AMEN
@@moniquegarcia1011 I believe everyone has a testimony and I also believe everyone's story is just as hard as the next persons. Yours is your hard experience and mine was my hard experience. Don't be embarrassed of your scars. Those scars alone tell a story many Can no longer say they lived through. Those scars define strength so many wish they had sweetheart. I'm glad the Lord helped deliver us cause truth is everyone can be delivered but they have to do their part💋✊💪😇🙏

Physical addiction is a mfer the urge comes. it gets stronger it takes over your every thought then you beat yourself up for doing it again. Cycle is soooooo strong
"I'm artistically gifted". What I like about Frank is he's so modest. And of course if you're artistically gifted, you spend your time interviewing people on the streets...
So many of us are going through so much, it's difficult to really think we can do anything to help. But if a few of us can do a small about, it could possibly make a lot of positive change.

What a sweetheart! She can definitely stay clean and sober if she got the right cognitive behavioral therapist to help her with the ADD and compulsive thoughts.
The trick to staying clean is that you have to learn to love yourself! If you learn that you're a worthwhile person to yourself you'll stop kicking the shit out of yourself?🤔 Been there, done that!
