Thank you so much for this demonstration. I'm new to cooking and started eating oatmeal for breakfast (instant microwave kind) I bought this rice cooker today and am excited to cook white rice and oatmeal
Lovely, as usual. I always look forward to your cooking tips. 🥰 Sorry if I keep spamming your channel with my microwave comments, but I cannot help recommending the micro way. For one serving: Soak 50 g of oatmeal in 200 g of water overnight. Stir and then micro at 350W for six to eight minutes, depending on how creamy you like your porridge. Serve like we serve traditional Swedish rice porridge at Yuletide, with hot milk sprinkled with equal parts of sugar and cinnamon.
@@TikkiOOO Not with 350 W, gradually raising the temperature. With milk, maybe. But I use a bowl with a loose lid (e.g. an upside-down plate) to be sure.

Thanks for the tips (tips are not spam!) very much appreciate it. Soak, then nuke. And the cup won't run over at 6-8 minutes???
