I'm kind of disappointed that Everhood didn't get much attention,this game is one of games I can call an "experience",full of goofy characters,4th wall breaks and,most important,good music. For example,I was REALLY caught with my guard off when hand cursor battle started. Also,whenever I hear dev gnomes theme I just imagine Pink guy having a seizure.
Either way,this game is amazing,and I hope more and more people play it and make art. Thanks for video.

It's soo amazing and underrated, like i tried this game because it looked very fun and similar to "certain very known indie game", and after the first gnome fight, which is just the first 30 minutes, i got hooked i wanted to see how crazy can this game be and it did not dissapoint me. I think it had too much in common with undertale. I mean looking at it as an observer it looks like a similar experience as far as characters and what not.
@Bassium08 uh no the experiences are completely different, and everhood is better in my opinion
@@Bassium08 To clarify more from what the kinda unhelpful guy after you said, I would agree with them that the core experiences are extremely different. Beyond the characters being quirky and some of the art, the tone and even themes of Everhood are almost the exact OPPOSITE of Undertale. While I wont spoil anything specific, the way both games handle the concept of Death is what I think really separates them.
@@averagevalorantfan8424 I've played Everhood for like 2-3 hours and got to the twist to the part only to abandon it shortly after. I gave it way too many chances to be different and impress me but I'm sorry to all the fans of the game it's just so afraid to be its own thing and relies on way too many other games for its source material that it gets obnoxiously boring really quickly. Undertale, Yume Nikki, Lisa, Earthbound and many more. Those who've played at least a couple of 'em might find this one really uninsipred. The choice of music is VERY questionable to put it mildly and personally I didn't find anything I'd wanna put on my phone other than the Dark Knight's theme, it's pretty dope. Then again, most of them aren't really songs, more like 'short jingles' that keep looping. It's not a bad game by any means, you can literally see how much effort was put in the gameplay department (which doesn't play that great to be frank) but for me that wasn't enough to catch my attention for more than one short session.
I am so happy that someone finally made a memetage of a Everhood playthrough. The game deserves so much attention

Everhood has become my favorite indie game of all time. It actually is an underrated gem like everyone else says, but our small fan base is what makes it really special to all of us.

The best part about this game is the fact that, once you've heard all of the songs in this video (Yes, even Happy H Christmas at the end), you won't even be halfway through the game.
Coming back to this video feels all the sweeter knowing that Everhood 2 is being made. Im glad this game got so much love from both the fans and the devs.

GRrr- I have been trying to get my friends into everhood because it’s such an epic game. I’m playing it for the second time but the loading screens in my switch are eternal and that’s kinda killing the mood. The game is still 10/10.

Everhood is unfortunately not famous, but I think this is not so bad, I mean watch some fandom on internet, they really are trash, but not everhood's one because it's small.
But it's not what it deserves, pretty paradoxal, having a little fandom attract less people, but having one make them flee because of how shitty the community is.
