Hi everyone! 🙋♀️ What are some of your personal favourite shoes in your footwear collection? Let me know in the comments below ⤵️ Hope you all enjoyed your weekend 😘
Hi there! 🙋♀️ Thank you, that's lovely to hear 😊 I'm not sure of the name of the protective guards - I go to the cobbler at Mister Minit here in Sydney and they will put them on - have just checked a pair of shoes and they have their logo so it must be in-house guards that they use. Hope this helps and wishing you a wonderful new week ahead 💕
Leather outsoles are dangerously slippery, too. I nearly broke my neck in some leather-soled shoes on a foggy day in San Francisco where I worked, I slid like crazy on the damp pavement and embarrassingly, instinctively grabbed a passer-by to save myself a bad fall. I apologized and explained and he was very good-natured. I love all of these you show, but they are above my budget. I try to find similar styles, in good quality leather, without the designer price. I find, with a bad back and getting older, I like slip-on styles more and more, plus they don’t rub my heels!
Hi Kimberly! 🙋♀️ They can be slippery - I'm glad to hear that you weren't injured and lucky here was there to help you 🍀🍀🍀 There's so many good quality shoes, some of the best I've had are from the high street 🥰
Hi Becka! 🙋♀️ Thank you...it's taken quite a few years to save for and build up but I feel footwear has made a big difference for me. Hope you're enjoying your weekend 😊
Espadrilles work well with casual summer dresses, Bermuda shorts outfits and linen trousers. I like that the heel is mostly covered for wearing straight or wide-leg trousers, the covered heel prevents the hems of the trousers getting between my heel and shoe, unlike most sandals.
That's a good point actually, I never considered the fabric covering would help prevent hems getting stuck! I really need to wear mine more often so thank you for sharing your thoughts on styling ideas 💡
Hey! Lauren your vlogs are so so wonderful and I really enjoyed watching your shoe collections so so much you’re looking too gorgeous and I wish you reach 6K Subscribers very very soon!🤗💖💓💫
Hi Lauren! What a lovely shoe collection you have. I especially love your dark brown boots; very Kate Middleton, English riding look 😍. I am glad to read below that Thumper is doing well 💕. I feel the same about my espadrilles. I love the concept of them, but they feel strange to walk in, like there is no natural rolling of the sole? Or maybe I need a different pair. I love your tip about getting the sole added by the cobbler when the shoe is new, how practical! Have a wonderful week 😊
Hi Cathy! 🙋♀️ Thank you, I'm really happy to hear that you liked it and appreciate your kind message for Thumper too 🙏❤️🐶 It's good to hear your experience with espadrilles and I feel you summed it up perfectly - mine don't allow for natural rolling of the sole either. Thank you so much for watching and wishing you a wonderful new week ahead too 😊
Happy Sunday Lauren ☀️I loved seeing your shoe collection. You have some lovely pairs of shoes and boots. My favourites are the Chanel sling backs and ballet flats and the Gucci loafers and slip ons. These are my own personal favourites for their comfort and stylishness. I want to be comfortable and loafers, ballet flats and block heeled sling backs/pumps offer me that. For the weekends, I have a collection of walking sneakers.
Hi Cristina! 🙋♀️ Thank you so much and it's great to hear about your personal faves 💗 Are there any brands or styles of walking sneakers which you would recommend? I do need more of those so would be interested to hear your thoughts 😊 Wishing you a wonderful new week ahead 💕
My last purchase was a new pair of budget sneakers from wal mart with no ties. While I have not yet break them out until the weather gets warmer. I like them because one I hate tying sneakers, two easy to put on and three affordable. It was very comfortable trying out and hopefully I can use them soon. At least your collection has no tying what si ever lol. Anyhow glad you are doing all right and thumper hopefully doing well.
Hey Irvin, how's it going?! 🙋♀️ Thank you for sharing - bonus is you don't need to wash the shoe laces 😀 I only have one pair of sneakers 👟 but need to pick up a second pair for my holidays as will be doing a lot of walking. Thank you for checking in on Thumper, I really appreciate it 🙏 🐶❤️ He is doing well... he had all day blood testing at the vet this Tuesday. He was on new medication this last month which can potentially cause seizures so his vet said to stop that immediately. Since he stopped it he has been fine and I've given him lots of cuddles 💕
@@LaurenGraceHarding lol yes washing laces I did not realize that was also needed. More walking the better I say I need to increase my walking in take as well. Holy cow a medication bad reaction that is scary. Glad the vet spot that bc that’s something even as pet owners could be blind sided. Now i feel I have to ask my brother if our dog may have a bad reaction to medication or ingredient along research what’s in those stuff. It’s like us too with medication in a way. You did the right thing Lauren to take the proactive to find out the cause and effect.
I have to wash mine every now and then, especially with white sneakers. If you can it's great, very easy way to be healthy and get fresh air. We've had so much rain in Sydney lately so it's been hard to walk here as much as usual. Now it's spring up there for you, hope you can enjoy getting out 🌸🌿🌷 Yes, I think some medications can have side effects if animals are prone to seizures or other things. Thumper has had slight tremors in the past but this was his first seizure that we know off, so we are trying to eliminate potential causes. But good news - his all day blood testing confirmed he doesn't have Cushings Disease. He had all the symptoms but test came back negative, thankfully. He has been through so much especially over the last year. It's been incredibly stressful for him and I, so a nice change for some good news for once! I'd recommend to research what conditions the breed may be prone too, that might help inform for any future medications so you/your brother can inquire about side effects. It helps to have a good vet as well 😀
Hi Lauren. Those Chanel sling backs are my favorite and I have been looking for them for so long, here in South Africa. Hopefully one day I will find them. You have a lovely collection of shoes.
Hi Ivana, how are you?! 🙋♀️ Hope you've had a lovely week 😊 I hope you can find a pair - have you looked into personal shopping services? I heard these exist however I haven't tried them out myself. Thank you so much, it's many years in the making and a lot of mistakes over the years with footwear 🙈
Hey, I have the same exact problem with the channel slingback. I bought one last month and returned it, but I really would like to find a solution. You said you are wearing them with a 1/2 insert. Can you tell me more? Do you use it in one or both shoes? What type of insert? Did you have them installed for you?
Hi Ida! After a few wears I think I got a half size too small in these 🙈 I've used the half insert but after a few hours I need to remove it. Even after removing it, I've had two wears which have left me with blisters. So I feel I should have sized up half a size (so choosing my normal shoe size) and then used the inserts. I love these shoes but getting the right size at the front is critical because they are so narrow. I bought the Clark's leather half insole, you can just slip them in the front and slip them out easily. I'd probably look to repurchase these in the future in my normal size and then get the slingback strap professionally shortened by a shoe cobbler if it felt too loose. Hope this helps!
@@LaurenGraceHarding Very helpful! I tried 36.5 in the store it was too tight, then I bought 37. It felt pretty good in the front, but the back wouldn't stay in place. Watching other TH-camrs, I can order in 36.5 C (you may want to consider that). Apparently, "C" is wide. This way, I may be able to keep the back in place and feel okay in the shoe, or I will go back and order 37 and just get the strap shortened (as you mentioned). I just hate to spend $1000 and have it fixed right away!
Oh if you can try the "C" width, that might help! Unfortunately we don't have that wider width available in Sydney 😞 I did ask in store but we don't stock it here - let me know how you go with it as I'd be interested to hear! Good luck with your search - they're a beautiful pair of shoes and I feel worth the effort to find the right size or get them professionally altered to fit you perfectly 🥰
These were so cute! Also block heels are such a life saver! It's funny that I also got a pair of Castaner espadrilles, but I got them in a size too big, so my feet slip down in the shoe...I can't wear them at all :(. Makes me kinda sad
Such a great video and collection! Thanks for sharing it. Did you tried the Ferragamo Varas in different widths? They have so many variations, it's so weird you didn't find a perfect fit! I have many pairs in different leathers but for some reason the patent ones are some of the most comfy for me :)
Hi there! 🙋♀️ Thank you, really happy you liked it 💕 I don't think they had different widths available in the Sydney store when I purchased these 😔 Very happy to hear you love these shoes, they are so sweet and chic! I do have a bunion on my right foot so that may also affect the comfort for me but glad the patent works well for you 😍 they are gorgeous shoes!
Hi Lauren, thank you for the informative video, I’m watched it countless times for your reviews of the various shoes. As a fellow Aussie, where do you usually go to get the soles put on the shoes?

All so very beautiful shoes. Very impressive long boots 👢. And of course, so great, that You have the loafers 👞. For winter I love little boots (I might show You) and for summer something smaller. (I will show later, when I am home. ) Sending hugs and best wishes from out a little train on my way to the Botanical Garden 🪴🫂🌺🐶🍀
Hi Marcel, danke! 🙏 Happy you liked the boots too 💯 Would be interested to see so send through some pics if you like! 📸 Hope you enjoy your time there, happy Sunday! 😊
C'est un message sympa de toi, merci 🙏 Je retournerai ici la semaine prochaine avec un nouvelle vidéo! Mais je pense que tu voulais dire "chère" pas "chérie" parce que chérie est vraiment informelle, non?

I don’t like patent leather because it’s non-breathable, permanently stiff and doesn’t stretch to fit like untreated leather.
I have to agree with you here, Kimberly! 💯
