This has to be one of the absolute best "CBS morning " shows that I've watched in quite some time!! Shout out to all the people who took the time to put this documentary together and most definitely a big Shout out to all of these amazing chefs! Wishing all of them continued success and I'm looking forward to buying that cookbook about those biscuits!!😂😂❤
Damn! This is what you call a blessed Meal. This makes me so Hungry. MomI i miss you and your cooking. We Chaffins are from the South! So we know what good southern food is.Lets face it Southern food is the Bomb.
#CBS I absolutely love these video articles thank you for good news #Goodnews positive news of people overcoming adversity and thriving with or without dei. And serving honest excellent quality food per your journalistic genuineness. God bless the CBS morning show journalist that did their thing here. #CBSMorningshow @CBSMorningShow
I’m not surprised that the late President Jimmy Carter went to this restaurant. Just read about his history. I never knew about this restaurant! (I live in the West.) Thanks for this 2024 report!
Video reminded me of a guy in Nashville who was called ‘The Chieftain Of Chitlins”. He was born too soon- turning out buckets to go. Nowadays he’d be a celebrity chef. Haven’t been back that way for many years, hope somebody’s carrying on with the traditional cuisine.
he is garnishing the food in the thumbnail... but in real life when things are garnished (I can't afford to eat out, really) they take away. How is JEFFIE gonna do that when I have no money and I'm moving into my car? How are the other 5 credit cards gonna do it? I'll never have a home again (this place sure as eff doesn't count as a home... more like an oversized, overpriced HOTEL) AND the ad that brought us here to rent it said it was half of what it IS... said that apartments were $650/up...more than twice that. I lost the opportunity for 30% income housing while here. I don't want that either. I want MY OLD HOUSE.... not that either... a reminder of all the days that should have been but weren't.... no, I want the value of my home, now, back so I can get another far away from any "family" member or person I used to know that will only hurt me. Everyone I used to know will only hurt me if given the chance. They only did that before. No one ever helped. No one.
I have worked and worked hard all my life, and could never really afford my own things... going out to eat, taking the kids to activities, a nice dress for myself once in a while... no, none of those things ever did I know in my life. Almost.... almost.
I don't care who makes my food. Just as long as I pay them green cash they deserve. Persians and Romanians don't demand special treatment or want a whole month about them.

I'll probably leave a couple days after court.
How can you not fill 4 server positions especially after covid.... stupid excuse and shouldn't have been repeated
Stop dividing people by race! If they are good chefs just say they are good chefs! I love Morgan Freeman's take on black history month.
Of course you do.
Yet you watched

You delusional
Who’s demanding special treatment. Has anyone sent you a letter asking preferential treatment.
