Beautiful galaxy backgrounds 🥰 I love your different designs ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
All these looks of the Galaxy are really cool. I like the look the Oxides give. I love your videos Laurel and your funny self. tfs 💙💜🖤🤍💚 😁
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!
Laurel, I am a Trekkie from the 60's. This is great for masculine cards. "Live long and prosper!" 🖖
HAHA! yes!
Love it! Kinda quick but very easy! Love the paste in the background…gotta use that soon!
I'm glad I'm not the only one covered in paint or ink! TFS
great ideas, thanks 😀
Thanks for the amazing ideas
the 1st one looks like the moon surface.
Never thought to use texture paste for Galaxy backgrounds but definitely will after seeing what you created. Fabulous ideas. Thank you so much 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Laurel, Loved this video even tho' you aren't a Trekkie!!!

Hello from NZ
Thanks for the reply. What I did do, prior to your reply, was lightly spray the backside, insert between 2 sheets of ppr, then stacked some big books on top and.... now have flat paper. I did use water color paper and was wondering if that was the reason. I LOVE the thick look, and the crackles in the paper too. Haven't sprayed yet, only have a very few colors (not like some with a wall rack of every designer, shade, type, etc..... :-) Thanks for your answer. I have 2 made and will try some color this week. woo hoo - the final frontier. bwahahaha...
So true! I never know when to stop with watercolor.
Fantastic video, ideas and techniques. I love how they turned out & you gave me an idea for a card I want to make, but was struggling with the water/ocean part of it...I'm gonna have a go with the texture paste & hopefully get the result I'm going for 😁
Have a wonderful day from Australia ❤
Yay! I hope it turns out beautifully!
Very awesome backgrounds. Thank God for your daughter LOL, I would have done the same and walked out of the house. Tfs Carmen
Thank you. Beautiful backgrounds.
Love these techniques; amazing!
So many thanks for the laugh out loud moments. I so needed the laughs today. ❤
Way cool, love the different colors and variations you came up with. Love galaxy backgrounds. Tysm
Wow great galaxy backgrounds. I'll have to try out these techniques. So fun!
Awesome backgrounds, Laurel!
Love your shooting stars - what a crazy mind you have!!!
So many different options! Thanks ♥️
You are so entertaining! I love your videos!
Thank you for the very cool techniques.
The paste makes for super results!!
I loved this!! Thank you!
love this technique, so much fun to do. TYFS
I loved these ideas . They are great.
So cool! Thank you😊❤
This was great thank you 💜💐
Love the shooting stars 😉
I really like the first textured galaxy! The 2 colors definitely worked together!
Tip that I've found for the Dina Wakely gloss white spray-wait for the base paint/ink to dry before splattering the white and don't water it down. It sits on top of the base ink so nice and allows for some really crisp splatter stars. I just spray using the sprayer that came with it. But if it clogs I use a fan brush to create the splatters.
Thank goodness for daughters! I could ask my husband if I had something on my face and he'd let me walk out of the house with paint on my face just as a joke. We've been married for almost 30 years and makes me laugh every day.
Thanks for sharing the video!
Interesting TFS 😀
Too much black
Thank you so much for the fantastic backgrounds. Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos you make everything look so easy .
Thanks so much 😊
Brilliant Galaxy backgrounds, thank you! xxx💖💖💖
You’re welcome 😊

Really cool!
Why yes, I DO have most of these products! Lol! Great ideas, Laurel!
Yay! Thank you!
so fun!!
I used T.H. Ranger crackle paste (for the first time) on 120lb paper (from Hobby Lobby) . Applied a heavy swath of paste, set aside to dry overnight - love the crackle look BUT the paper curled up into a big U shape. Any ideas on how to un-U the paper, and suggestions to limit this behavior in the future??? Thanks
I think its because you applied a heavy application and then its designed to crackle so it made the paper move. You can try flipping it over, add a towel or something over the card and iron it on a low setting to straighten it out. To prevent this, apply a VERY THIN application. A little goes a long way with pastes! I hope this helps!
They're stunning, but how do you then turn them into cards? :(
check out all my other videos and you see! Super easy.
I absolutely love your channel Laurel!
Thank you so much!!
Blown away already by the very first one! 😍
Happy to hear that!
Love these ideas!! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
How do you keep the embossing paste from drying out? My paste dries out and only seems to last 6 moths.
Fortunately, the brands I have don't seem to dry out as long as I make sure the lid is tight. You could try putting a little plastic wrap over the top before putting the lid on to see if that helps!
🙋♀️💖
Love how you tell us to use what’s in our stash! Brilliant!
Love the Galaxy ideas!
Thanks so much! 😊
Laurel- amazing galaxy background! I can’t wait to try these out.
