We have arrived in the Maldives of the Philippines - wow what an incredible final spot here on our unforgettable adventure throughout this beautiful country.
Today we are island hopping around El Nido, exploring all the different spots, from snorkeling in crystal blue waters to kayaking through lagoons.
The next day we headed out to Lio beach, finding a way less busier part to this island before zip lining at Las Cabanas beach. Our final day we headed back to Puerto Princesa to see the fire flies.

There's 7641 islands to be explored in the country with unique beauty & scenery on each island. My top recommendations would be Batanes, Siargao, Gigantes, Boracay, Palawan (El Nido, Coron, etc), Cebu ((Malapascua, Bantayan, Camotes, etc), Camiguin, Bohol, Siquijor and a lot more.

@@lexmorata5246 it's not validation. it's putting the Philippines on the map which it richly deserve. do a quick fact check and you'll see that the Philippines is still lagging behind most of its SE Asian neighbors including Vietnam which not too long ago has zero tourism whatsoever cause of the war. And clearly any tourism related video, like this one, helps promote the country.

I am sure all you need is time to do so because visiting these islands of the Philipppines is very affordable compared to Europe or other Asian countries for that matter, and I may add, the locals are so friendly .

El Nido cannot be compared to Maldives, El Nido or the Philippines as a whole is way more eco-diverse... The warmth of the people is also very different.
El Nido is a beautiful paradise but the Maldives of the Philippines is the BALABAC ISLANDS and LINAPACAN in Palawan, ROMBLON, MANJUYOD, TAWI-TAWI, SULU, MASBATE, etc.

coron is as beautiful, if not more beautiful than el nido. aside from the beaches & lagoons, coron has amazing lakes. hope you come back to the philippines soon. you barely scratched the surface of the thousands (7,641 to be exact) of beautiful islands in the philippines.

I think they do that because the bottle is glass and not plastic, which is'nt (plastics) allowed in Palawan
Selling gasoline in some parts of the Philippines is in retail per liter. So thats why they use empty 1L coke bottles to easily measure it.
They put it in the coca cola bottle because sometimes the gas station is far.

I know it's not the intention of the video but the title is suggesting that Maldives is so awesome that it is an honor for El Nido to be compared to Maldives. The fact is, El Nido is a lot better than Maldives. In fact, El Nido (or Palawan) is consistently being voted as the best island in the world. Just say that El Nido is the best island in the world and no one will raise an eyebrow. No need to compare it with Maldives. El Nido can stand on its own.
maldives are more known to the public than el nido, so its ok to compare, to give people an idea what a place is like. That El nido is better than Maldives is also just ur personal opinion.

actually, the one that is referred to as the maldives of the philippines is in dumaguete i.e. manjuyod sandbar...not sure though if i spelled it right....you should visit it next time you are in the philippines

@@SlyGoesMeow The Maldives look completely different from El Nido though. The Maldives are flat islands, like we have all over the Philippines. El Nido has huge limestone cliffs.
El Nido, Coron Balabac and San Vicente Palawan are all touristy sites that are underrated around the world. They are all beautiful than Maldives. Yes infrastructures should be the main focus for the government to bring Palawan more competitive to other countries.

I grew up in Panay. Never been to Palawan...someday maybe but we have our own little tour basically the country is made of islands within an island in an island. Many of us not interested to see the next island until you guys made a vlog. Mabuhay/ Welcome to Las Islas Filipinas.
