Yeah if tuned. Also Idc if it's a BMW. Supra wasn't meant to be a 1000HP beast to beat supercars in a straight line, It's a car that can lap the Nordschleife or any other tracks. Thanks for popularizing the Supra, Fast and Furious.

The C6 ZR1 actually held the world record for the fastest production car on the planet. If you don't belive me you can look it up.
Makes sense, considering the extra drag for the C7's wing.

They aren't related and gts isn't actually the successor of sls...this is a common misconception
@@chandrachurbanerjee5446 uhh... The AMG GT is still kinda the successor of the SLS? (Key word: "kinda"), I mean the AMG GT follows the same basic philosophy of the SLS, a Front-mid engine, RWD Long hood 2 door GT and were both cars also used in GT Racing, sure that's like saying the M6 and M4 GT3 are connected, but that's just BMW being BMW with its "diverse" car models, same could be said to the 296 replacing the 488 in GT3 even though the F8 Tributo is the actual successor of the 488
@@davidjudd564 Almost all the amg cars of mercedes barring the project 1 are traditional front engine sports cars..!
The amg gt came out after the sls but sls was never properly replaced and won't be replacex very soon..just like sl300 goldwing was succeeded by the sls after almost 50 years...!
Sls has hence become a very costly valuable car for collection while the amg gt is much less expensive and will have a revision almost every year..!
The sl300, slr mclaren and sls are collectables..!
Also, the sls is naturally aspirated V8 6l while the amg gt is twin turbo-charged 4l V8 except the amg gt3 which actually shares the same engine from the sls...!
However the sls with its N.A V8 and goldwing doors is one of a kind and spiritual successor of sl300 and amg did not create amg gt to exactly replace it..!
Also, speaking of Ferrari, being a supercar manufacturer, they make mid-engine cars but 296gtb is not a replacement rather an addition with its new V6 hybrid turbocharged power unit, the V6 being brought back to ferrari after many decades. The F8 tributo is however a normal replacement of the 488 pista with its mid-engined V8..!
@@chandrachurbanerjee5446 Jesus Christ dude, you looked way too much into this just for a car being considered a successor, by this logic, the R35 shouldn't even be classified as an actual GT-R successor since it isn't built under the Skyline name and uses a V6 than an i6, also you didn't even understood the Ferrari thing at all
