    Absolutely gold, As a parent to a Canadian player and don’t have as much access to the USA market we appreciate all these great videos.

    Love your suggestion to ask a coach about summer development/summer collegiate leagues. My oldest plays NAIA baseball and finding a solid place to play in the summer can be a big challenge for many baseball players (unless you are a pitcher, because most summer teams need as many arms as possible). Similar to the college recruiting process (or finding a job “in the real world”) finding a place to play baseball in the summer is all about networking/ reaching out to summer collegiate baseball teams. You may face rejection but keep pushing and trust those rejections will push you closer to finding an ideal place to play/develop

    The content of your video is absolutely on point. It was extremely helpful for me to guide my son.
    As a symbol of my appreciation I’m going to give you a few communication tips to improve your channel:
    - Add a digital chart to reinforce key points
    - Drop that particular music…the piano was really distracting.
    - Speed up your intro, don’t need to credentialize as much. You are instantly credible.

    Great content. Using your advice and instructions, I've gotten my first offer from an NAIA school as a preferred walk on. I'm homeschooled and got a late start in recruiting (sr. year), but thanks to you I knew how to progress. This stuff works! :)

    Hi Alex, I love your videos. How does the recruiting process work for the JUCO player? Does the JUCO player have to continue their process of reaching out to coaches after HS, once they have committed to a JUCO? Do you have a video on that topic?

    • @RecruitingWithAlex
      @RecruitingWithAlex  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey London! Yes, JUCO players will want to reach out to college coaches as well. The good news is it’s easier because you are already established.

    As a parent of a sophomore and trying to be smart about where I spend money. Do you think it’s more important to invest in a bigger organization with a more competitive summer tournament schedule requiring extensive travel and expense or go with a summer team that has more of a local tournament schedule and spend more time on a couple showcases and school camps in the fall?

    One suggestion- think about your audience as being more than male baseball players. I coach girls soccer and am using some of your talking points to help them play after high school.

      Love hearing this. Thanks for sharing. Should I get into other sports? There is a lot of over lap.

      @@RecruitingWithAlex yes - there is a huge need for clear information on the recruiting process and, as I am sure you know it is different for different sports.
      Thank you for your work

    How do you leverage Twitter/X/IG when college coaches follow you on that platform? For example, if youre a HS Soph with 30 coaches following you, how do you leverage that coinnection when they can't officially reach out? Recruiting Questionnaires for each school have been filled out. What's next?

    I don't think I want to play for a coach that's worried about other programs having interest in me. It's none of their business. I don't want to go there because you're afraid to lose me.
