'The Voice' will inevitably open the dam walls on a plethora of Native Title claims which will result in every property owner in Australia having to pay rent. It means every Australian home owner and landlord will pay an extra tax (rent tax). They say we are on stolen land and therefore you are 'renters' a sign of goodwill to pay extra tax. It will depend on the value of your home. If you have say a 1.5 million house in Sydney you will probably pay .5 to 1% rent tax meaning >5 to 10k per year. Landlords will simply increase rent for tenants to cover the cost.
I said a similar thing years ago. With all their claims of 'sacred aboriginal lands" they will eventually say that you home is built on such land and you have to open your wallet and pay up.

Thank you Chris for your expert commentary and honest answers to many of the questions i had. If you layer the 'power' of the Voice with a CCP style Social Credit system and a digital currency, which is currently on trial in Ukraine i believe. Then we cease to remain a democracy and we loose our entitlements as citizens, and the freedom we enjoy as individuals.

Look up the meaning of “representation” in a dictionary. A constitutionally enshrined advisory body would by definition unable to instruct anything. You don’t quite understand how words work do you?
@@JoeyJoJoJrShabbado That is a nonsensical question. Do you mean legislation the government will bring to the parliament to enact a voice if there is a yes vote? If so the government has declared this publicly, read it for yourself.
When you look at the Charter of the (unelected) NIAA it is exactly what the Voice is supposed to do. They have a huge budget aready but I doubt any of it goes to the needy people in the regions. It is probably just Indigenous elites filling their own pockets. ATSIC mark 2. Audit and fix the NIAA and forget the Voice. The whole idea of 'First Nations People' is garbage. There was no nation when the first settlers arrived. There was no form of government. Just a bunch of aboriginal tribes that feuded with each other.
We have ministers departments who are tasked with taking care of Indigenous needs. Calling for a voice to parliament is admitting failure of existing departments. This voice idea will fail as all previous schemes have. Jostling for a spot at the Trough have already started and mark my words, the Indigenous people on the ground will not be among them.

The Prime Minister plainly misunderstands the legal impact of his proposed wording … Anthony Albanese misled parliament - and the people - when he said parliament would retain primacy over how the voice operated and what it considered. … [Professor George William] said: “That’s the point of putting things in the Constitution, it puts them beyond the parliament.” … Please Australians... do your due diligence before you vote. What is the NIAA involvement in putting forward the referendum? *AND* most of all, what has the NIAA been doing to alleviate the disastrous conditions in Alice Springs/remote Indigenous Settlements?

ULURU STATEMENT FROM THE HEART:- Speaking about sovereignty in the 3rd paragraph. "It has never been ceded or extinguished, and co-exists with the sovereignty of the Crown". The 5th paragraph:- With substantive constitutional change and structural reform, we believe this ancient sovereignty can shine through as a fuller expression of Australia’s nationhood. The issue of a constitutional inclusion of the voice goes to the heart of sovereignty. South Australia just announced the legislative changes for the voice. That is a gov body to be established and can be extinguished if South Australia rescinds the legislation. This is no more or less than an act of Parliament and has no effect on sovereignty. The referendum goes to sovereignty… Voting NO is becoming an obligation. Just vote NO
@@ClaireOgle-tl9kg Hi Claire, I am very pleased to respond to intelligent questions. I have three lists for you. The first list is South Australia and the second list is National. If you get to the end, there is a third list. You are very welcome to copy and share the information. It puts a spotlight on the failure, no attempt here to look for the good, the point is they were aboriginal voices that were not heard above the political noise. The Voice at state level or National level will be more of the same. The only difference is the National level will enshrine the Voice into the Constitution. Let's ask a serious question, I pose the question for others to determine for themselves. "What would have happened to Australia if any one of the following 10 bodies was enshrined into the constitution." South Australian Aboriginal Bodies:- 1. Adelaide Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM) (1990-2014): Founded in 1990, the ALRM provided legal aid services and representation to Indigenous people in South Australia. It closed down in 2014 due to financial difficulties and lack of resources. 2. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) (1990-2005): Established in 1990, ATSIC was a national body representing the interests of Indigenous Australians. It was abolished in 2005 due to government concerns about its mismanagement and lack of accountability. 3. Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (SA) (1990-2010): Founded in 1990, ALRM (SA) provided legal advice and representation to Indigenous people in South Australia. It closed down in 2010 due to increasing financial difficulties and lack of resources. 4. Aboriginal Inland Mission (AIM) (1990-2013): Founded in 1990, AIM provided educational and social services to Aboriginal people in South Australia. It closed down in 2013 due to a lack of support and funding. 5. Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (1990-2012): Founded in 1990, the Health Council provided support and assistance to Aboriginal people in South Australia. It closed down in 2012 due to a lack of government funding and resources. National Aboriginal Bodies:- 1. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) - Established in 1990, ATSIC was the first government body to represent the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It was abolished in 2005 due to allegations of financial mismanagement and lack of transparency. 2. National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Council (NATSIHC) - Founded in 1989, NATSIHC was intended to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It was abolished in 2003 due to poor performance and lack of accountability. 3. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Council (ATSIEAC) - Established in 1993, ATSIEAC was responsible for improving the educational outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. It was disbanded in 2004 after its effectiveness was questioned. 4. National Indigenous Council (NIC) - Established in 2004, the NIC was set up to provide advice to the government on Indigenous issues. It was abolished in 2007 due to a lack of progress and failure to meet its objectives. 5. National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples (NCAFP) - Founded in 2010, the NCAFP was intended to be a voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It was disbanded in 2017 due to controversy surrounding its leadership and lack of progress. The above organisations have start dates and closing down dates. The list does not include the current Aboriginal bodies that are in effect today. I counted approximately 50 bodies. As a conclusion, it is apparent that what has happened with these bodies is over simplified just to make the point. There is no single point of contact to begin to address these issues. Aboriginal people are represented in every echelon of society, from the political elite to the most marginalised. The solution to this is being touted as a Voice in the Constitution. Many thousand of words is emotionally pleaded for the constitutional change. Is that logical, is that sensible and is that reasonable? Australia is a society, it is not homogenous, it is heterogeneous:- that means composed of parts or elements of different kinds, qualities, or origins. Promoting separateness on race will do harm. The solution is not easy but could easily be led my Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people. I have another list of objectives that work for a civil society that is more than jingoism. 1. Increase Social Interaction: Encourage members of different groups to interact with each other in social settings such as schools, workplaces, and community events. This type of interaction will help foster understanding and mutual respect between different groups. 2. Celebrate Diversity: Celebrate the distinct cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds of different groups. Showing appreciation for diversity can help build bridges between different groups and create a more unified society. 3. Promote Equality: Promote a culture of equality by advocating for equal rights, opportunities, and access to resources for all members of society. 4. Encourage Dialogue: Encourage dialogue between different groups to help foster understanding and cooperation. This can be done through meetings, seminars, and other events that bring together different groups. 5. Support Local Organisations: Support local organisations that promote unity and understanding between different groups. These organisations can provide resources and guidance to help bridge the gap between different groups. Simplistic - YES. But it is the right place to start. I will vote no, The voice is not a solution I can see.
@Ed_Downunder Thanks Ed your information makes so much sense & I will be voting NO. I believe there is already an organisation the NIAA which should be doing what the voice is proposed to do. Again information provided by Sky News. Thanks again perhaps with you ideas you should run for PM 🫠

Legislation to permanently separate the Aboriginal Australians from the Australians Check New Zealand and look at the trouble the twin governance has caused, ask Winston Peters. It just grows like Topsy
Peter Dutton has every right to ask for the fine print. There is a precedent from Labour that must be considered. In 1982 the Whitlam Labour Government established the National Indigenous Conference to develop a treaty between the Aboriginal Nations and Australia. This treaty sought to return sovereignty to Aboriginal peoples. This included original reserves to be acquired by the government and given as freehold to aboriginal peoples. Self-government for each tribal territory. Payment of 5% of GDP per annum for 195 years. The return of Forests and National Parks (already happening) Mineral rights to the land. Tax exemption for 195 years. The reservation of seats in Federal and State parliaments and a number of other cultural issues. There are a bunch of political extremists already involved in this Voice ready to be involved in further development of the Voice. Whitlam is one of Albanese's heros and it would not surprise me that he wants to be one step up on Whitlam. Albanese has not had a good track record in being truthful, so when he says "trust me", "all the detail will be worked out after the referendum", I would be very afraid. If any of this stuff is being considered, he would not want people to know about it.
All the "Aboriginals" on stage are public servants, most of whom are entitled to UK passports. Why change the Constitution when section 44 needs enforcing?

'The Voice' will inevitably open the dam walls on a plethora of Native Title claims which will result in every property owner in Australia having to pay rent.
It means every Australian home owner and landlord will pay an extra tax (rent tax).
They say we are on stolen land and therefore you are 'renters' a sign of goodwill to pay extra tax.
It will depend on the value of your home. If you have say a 1.5 million house in Sydney you will probably pay .5 to 1% rent tax meaning >5 to 10k per year.
Landlords will simply increase rent for tenants to cover the cost.
This is what people don't realise if they vote yes ,They will be paying for it forever .the whole thing is a free money grab
I said a similar thing years ago. With all their claims of 'sacred aboriginal lands" they will eventually say that you home is built on such land and you have to open your wallet and pay up.
Agree with you, allegedly as well the Aboriginal’s would get two votes and you will get one vote! Rumours are already the Aboriginal’s are planning on wanting NO enter tests for University and NO Fees, 10% all job appointments for high positions go to Aborigines and other jobs, so say 10% Judges ! Agree and watching Sky news recently - I see that the NIAA get 4bn at least per year to make changes and improvements - but they don't do what is needed. Aboriginals and Torres Straight Islanders already have so much more help than many of us hardworking Australians. Vote No.
I think the Voice is the opportunity for Aboriginal elites to form another ATSIC type group, in which they cannot be sacked as they were when John Howard wound up ATSIC and put them out of a job.
The voice will provide a few more jobs for the Aboriginals.

"What would have happened to Australia if any one of the following 10 bodies was enshrined into the constitution."
South Australian Aboriginal Bodies:-
National Aboriginal Bodies:-
