I was as poor as it can be as the clarinetist. But I felt deeply this song, I had problems with one injury and I couldn't have any physical job, but I haven't had any other qualifications - the injury done when I earnt money for my guitar. When I first heard Chris I went down to my local record store and asked for the new Leonard Cohen record and when there wasn't one I said are you sure I just heard it on the radio it's gotta be coming out oretty soon and they were like nope, and I said I heard this song called Texas and I'm certain it's one of his, imagine my surprise
@@JagMan78 it’s technically not from any album, but on a rare compilation album, titled The Best Of Chris Rea, from 1998. Yes, there are two compilation albums with the same name.
