Hello! Hope you are doing well. One question is asking yourself the reason to choose a famous actress as a profile name. A white actress who got famous by willing to show the body with little clothing, willing to be treated as a sex object. Even if one doesn't want to reveal your real name, one can use the initial, a nick name, a symbolic name. Another point is about respecting the other person and not using their names as one's profile name. Deepak and Dalai Lama teach about being your Authentic True Self. Deepak has great videos on this. Michael Singer shared about understanding one's psyche, thoughts and connecting to True Self, through the book The Untethered Soul.
Many racialized people ("people of color") are not aware of the negative impact of colonization on them, their sense of identity, self esteem. Programmed to think that the more "white" they appear and act (dyeing their hair blond, whitening their skin, using a western name, etc), the better they become or the more they can "blend in" with the main stream, white dominant society. The teachings of buddhism (the progressive sects, teachers, groups like Zen, Thich Nhat Hanh, Plum Village) are part of universal teachings on the truths, incl self inquiry, independent thinking, compassion towards self and all beings. I absolutely love what he is saying about different traditions (religions) and how we should find our own way. I grew up in a small town and we all were forced to believe in Christianity. I never found my way with it. Once I left the town, thought on my own, I found Buddhism. I have never had such peace. Buddhism is my way.
All false religions lead to hell. You should seek the truth instead of what feels good. Its very common for bad things to feel good at first, but leading to damaging consequenses in the end. You will stand before God on the day of judgement and you need to account for all your wrong doings. Only Jesus offers the payment for all your sins so that you may not go to hell, but have eternal life.
I can listen to His Holiness for a very long time. He's like the guru of the entire planet, the grandfather of us all. Wishing him a long and good life. ❤️🌱🌿

Tears of joy is rolling down while I listen and ponder more about being compassionate. Although we know it but somehow we tend to forget and practice in our daily life. The most realistic and inspiring person i have ever heard. We all have a peice of this knowledge and he seems to me so wise in his ability to communicate with love. There is so much profundity when Dalai Lama says that we are provided with two eyes and two ears so that we can see and hear both sides of an argument and that debating to attain a logical reasoning has been an intrinsic part of Indian tradition.Hope as he wishes, this ancient knowledge of physical, psychological and emotional hygiene is taught in schools and thus preserved for eternity.

Btw, An analyst by nature, I have been studying cultural differences between the east & the west (generally & widely) Just an observation worth noticing: Notice, How IMPortant a good impression & then a good intention is to westerners, compared to the easterner. EVvery question asked by a westerner begins with a sugar coat - We are honored 2b here, etc. The Easterner gets straight to the point. Truly, this is a cultural thing. And UNfortunately, the West has the bucks to back it, so making a good impression is sweeping the world - Easterners are picking up on it, fast. After moving from East to West, living here MORE of my life, I find that I lack the sugar-coating spirit, and so I am often misunderstood or taken as "Blunt" or "Brutally honest" - While others with the sugar-coating spirit are considered more polite (even if they are "sharp" &/or "actually dishonest"-!?) Good Intentions over Good Impressions is something our modern culture is in need of.
We who have taken the time to listen & learn from this holy man, have the obligation to try to attain World Peace 1 (Won) instead of WW3 - Let's unite in Spirit to do our part & begin with Purposeful Peace - Tougher sometimes than other times, but Possible. Ushta-te!

Even through TH-cam I can sense his wonderful, beautiful energy and love for all people, So much so that I literally burst into tears every time I listen to him and watch a video with him in it. I want so very much to meet him in person. Would someone please tell me what I need to do to be able to meet him aside from planning a trip to Darhamsala? Are there any special applications that I need to submit to be able to do so? Requirements and or restrictions of dates or the like?

Go beyond it to the ultimate peace and bliss. All answers are within you. What His Holiness Dalai Lama spoke exactly matches the Gita revealed millions of years ago. One thing secular is not the answer for world's peace for ever. Make that spiritual dimension neutral and teach at every level. Governments across the globe must implement this education of discriminating soul energy from the physical bodies and desires, this is the way to go. I am just a bloke from a hamlet.
