    Thanks for the very clear explanations, especially of how APAP works. Many people are under the misimpression that the maximum pressure setting is for inhalation and the minimum is for exhalation--sort of a variable "bipap" approach. Thanks for explaining that this is incorrect, and that APAP is simply a variable CPAP, with the machine sensing what pressure changes you might need throughout the night.

      I would say that may not be correct. I mean each machine has its various settings and algorithms to meet patients needs.

      @@Sleeplayground depends on specific machines but when one user opened and compared AirSense 10 CPAP and AIrCurve 10 Bipap, All physical parts were the same. another video showed how you could upgrade software (firmware) on Airsense to make it Bipap (Aircurve).. the algorithm is all in the firmware.. so these companies are making huge margin over their Cpap machines for something that In the end (once developed) costs nothing more to produce. its shady
