I wish the double lane road connecting imphal to haflong via tamenglong district be completed soon. We call the same rice beer as Jou. Among zeliangrong ( Zeme + liangmei+ rongmei+ inpui) , zeme has a surname called Pame. Rongmei called it Pamei and liangmei call as Pamai. Zeme has Kuame rongmei has kamei. It's all same we once live together but parted in different direction so. Linguistics change take place
It is very beautiful how clans transcends different tribes. If only we are sure of our roots and our relations through common origins there will be no room for tribalism. So much love to the Dimasa nation ♥️

When people are spreading here n there in the forest area it is difficult for govt to provide like water,electricity,health care,road. Specially when population of village is very lest.
I told the organising members that I’m quite disappointed that DSU- Haflong Govt College Unit has not condemned or put out a statement against Aimee Baruah and Semkhor movie. Whereas DSCG and DSU - Delhi Unit and even DSU Central committee have done it. I have given my support financially to the socio cum freshers event but my conscience does not allow me to celebrate a Dimasa community related event when the organising committee have not responded to the insult and demonisation of Dimasa community. I have requested DSU Haflong Govt College unit to organise a literary event where the students can share intellectual thoughts about how to protect our Dimasa indigenous rights and would surely attend if and when it is organised. 🙏
