Ahha Moment! Radhakriahan mentioned what for me was the single most important piece of information regarding White balance, that I could not find anywhere else. Namely, that you are simply telling the camera what colour temperature you are shooting in either through auto, preset or manual setting the corresponding Kelvins and your sensor will compensate accordingly. YOU are not NOT setting the compensation. Before this video I had completely missed this point. Thanks for such a clear explaination.
IT's a Goldmine. I cannot thank you enough. i always struggled with white balance but after watching this video
its not the case any more. Now i understand that why when i increase the colour temperature the images become yellow.
it is because camera is thinking that the scene is too blue so i must pour in a lot of yellow to make it white.
