Hitman Bang knew what he was doing. They automatically assigned their roles. J-hope wanted to be a vocalist, but they knew he would fit well as a rapper, but J-hope still got vocals too. That is also why J-hope and Jimin were always partnered together when it came to certain variety shows. They are always together when it comes to anything regarding dance. Shit in their storyline they are together. In carpool with James, people thought J-hope was going to go up and show apart of their routine, but as you saw, J-hope and Joonie were already slapping Jimin's ass and pushing him to go. It's like they trying to make it even more obvious without saying it again "He is the main dancer too." Anyway, Joonie, Jin, and Jimin are not playing this comeback. They all coming for necks.
Being that Jimin was given the official title of Main Dancer just like Hobi, & the title of Lead Vocalist, by BigHit since the beginning when BTS debuted, it's been long awaited that they feature Jimin dancing more!! It's such a shame that his outstandingly amazing background in various forms of dance, isn't taken advantage of more!! Jimin was already offered an overseas opportunity to dance but turned it down because he wanted to be a singer! Before ever joining BigHit Entertainment! The media even called him 'the rising star of Busan' even before that after seeing Jimin dance at a big event in Busan!! One of Jimin's dance instructor even said in dismay, that 'the world of dance was going to lose a great artist'!! Jimin actually first trained, performed, & competed (winning every competition) in hip hop, popping, & street dance, since age 11-12, at the renowned Busan Just Dance Academy, before he even went on to study contemporary, then attended the Busan High School of the Arts where Jimin also studied some ballet & even traditional Korean dance! Jimin also incorporates some of his martial arts training into his dance! Jimin trained in various forms of martial arts, starting as a little boy for 8 years, achieving a blackbelt in Taekwondo as well as studying kumdo (Korean form of kendo) even being the only one to receive a scholarship to go to China for more extensive training!! So as amzing as Hobi is in his particular style of dance, Jimin has the spectacular ability to dance all styles exceptionally well!! Hobi even is always amazed and has mentioned just how phenomenal Jimin is at popping!!!
