I've listened to BTS since they debuted and stanned them all this time. Dark and Wild is the album where I *knew* they would make it, even though they were still being actively ignored by Korean media and finances were tight. Every person who heard me listening to them at work wanted to know who it was. And the outro...killed me.

I love so many of their songs, but "Let Me Know" and "Danger" are my absolute favorites. "Let Me Know" is pure, raw emotion. And Jimin's high note is transcendent. Dark & Wild is an exceptional album. Plus, you should watch the "Danger" dance practice. Just awesome.

BTS's choreo is always hard and intricate, however their older choreos were unnecessarily hard but still really cool to watch >< I think it was because they had to impress people as rookies. Now I think they have more confidence in themselves to not rely on choreo too much, and just enjoy themselves on stage :)

Dark and Wild is my favorite album and top 3 favorite era. This album has the song Let Me Know which made you like Jimin because of the high note at the end of the song.

They were working on Dark and Wild while in LA doing AHL. This album was my first BTS purchase. Great album. You can definitely see and feel their shift in music. I still think it's sad when Danger came out A LOT of people didn't like it and felt they had changed too much. I felt like they had started to grow at this point and started to experiment with different sound. And now look at the different types of music they put out now. They're not stuck to a mold. Go listen to the album if you haven't already. Also check out Danger Mo-Blue-Mix. It's amazing.
I love this era! It was this song with their dance practice that got me hooked on their dance skills. If you haven't yet, I suggest you to watch the "Danger" dance practice as well.
if you look closely this era is linked to blood sweat and tears :) the reference to joon tattooing himself as well as tae cutting his hair are all shown in the short films for wings i think and there is multiple clips of joon tattooing himself and the reference to the bird :) everything connects in bts universe

This was the first completely perfect album I ever listened to. It came out right around the time I discovered BTS. I love D&W era. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a commercial success at the time. Also, they recorded stuff literally in a garage while in LA. They were so busy making this album, recording AHL and KCON 2014....seriously hectic schedule.

I believe this was during their American hustle life days because of Suga's hair style and red color, also during their debut years they were popular in Asia, particularly in Thailand, I watched all their interviews and performances in Thailand cause that's where I was born. Thai fans love BTS, Jungkook even hugged a thai pop singer (I forget her name) but she said that he was her bias and then she walked over & hugged him and he seemed so shy 😂. The dance practice to danger Is lit too, you can see their smooth transitions and precise intricate detail of the choreography, would love for you to please react to it 🤗

Go rewatch the wings intro short films and you will see call backs. They had pretty much left the imagery from this alone for years (it was before I Need U and an official start to their universe) but in those short films you'll see more RM tattooing himself and V cutting his hair. Also they love the smashed/burning piano imagery but it's now connected to both Yoongi's and Jungkook's characters
