- Klaus used the Hammond H100 organ on many of his popular Lp's during the 60's - 70's years. His accomplished playing style & arrangements coupled with the latest Hammond H series organ gave him a distinctive unique sound which was instantly recognisable against his contemporaries. This is my tribute to the wonderful sound he produced on those albums using my own vintage H100 organ with a selection of Hammond pops played "Klaus" style. Hope you enjoy listening, best wishes, Bill
Good morning Bill,
a wonderful title by Klaus, I really liked it.
But also your technique is really good.
Can I have some more, please.
Greetings from Germany....
Martin
Hi Martin, thanks for listening & your comment, you play very well also, best wishes Bill
Someone introduced me to Klaus Wunderlich music in 1977 by giving me some cassette tapes of this style of playing. Never looked back. Now I have most of his recordings, especially Dream Melodies. This is a wonderful performance Bill. Like listening to Klaus’s Hammond Pops! Very nostalgic and entertaining. 🙌 🎹
Thanks for listening James, best wishes Bill 🎹🎶

Hello Bill,
Klaus Wunderlich's sound still fascinates me to this day.
Today I know it was great arrangements and it was played really well.
You captured this feeling very well with your wonderful organ and your gorgeous playing.
Greetings Paul
Hi Paul, good to hear from you, thanks for your kind comment, Klaus & the H100 sound combination is timeless music. Thanks Bill
Buenos días sr profesor donde venden estos instrumentos musicales
Klaus Wunderlich was not only a great keyboard player but a great musician. His tonal choice and melodic ideas instilled soul into electronic music. This made his music so unique. I noticed, here on TH-cam are quite a number of talented organists, even technically as good as Klaus Wunderlich, and they all admire Klaus Wunderlich's unique style.

I subscribe to your channel because I like Hammond organ and I play also keyboards.
I remember that the H 100 was selled in the years 70 when I begin to play organ.
I find your playing nice and original for example with the two hands on the same keyboard.
🎹 🇨🇵
Thank you for listening Francois, kind regards Bill 🎹

Thanks James, hope I can keep the standard up though, best wishes,. Bill
A very good tribute and those are the kinda songs I grew up with. Just one comment on the organ - it sounds tinny aat the high end sometimjes.
Thanks Danny I’ll listen out for that on new recordings 👍🎹🎶
Superb German music!😅
Thanks for listening David 👍🎶🎹
OMG I’ve just found your channel, it’s taken me back to my childhood and learning to play the organ. I met Klaus in Germany when I was on holiday in the late 70’s and the honour to sit next to and play a Hammond. I’ve not played in 35 years but the sound of the Hammond organ sends chills down my spine it’s unique. Don’t give up what you and continue to play in the same style. Thank you for keeping this truly talented man alive.
Thank you for your comment Waggie, that’s great you met Klaus, the “genuine “ Hammond sound is timeless & brings back many emotions, I grew up listening to Klaus & playing along with his recordings best I could, happy times! glad you appreciate my interest in keeping Klaus’ music alive. Best wishes Bill

Hi Bill, I've watched you playing the Hammond in many of your videos and Klaus Wunderlich is still my favourite organist, and you capture his sound brilliantly. I always think of the two times I saw him live. Wonderful memories.

@@billtus pleasure. Yes busy with gigs. We are turning some gigs down though because the wife of the guy I am in the duo with has been poorly. She lost her hearing altogether a year last Christmas. She has had an implant fitted last week which hopefully will restore some hearing for her. The diary is quite full but we are purposely taking a weekend off each month as we are not getting any younger 👀😂😂. Keep the videos coming. They’re great. 😃
Great playing, never seen this model of Hammond before.
Thanks Nigel, the H100 came. between the A100 / C3 and the X77 in the Hammond range, regards Bill

Hi Billtus! It is good to hear K.W. tunes played on the H100. It sure brings back memories from the early 70's. My first hearing was K.W. the Hammond Pops 6 a record my big brother had. I listened to this Lp a lot. After that I got the Hammond Pops 3, nr. 5 and nr. 8 and later others. Thanks for Your K.W. - medley's!
Thanks Carsten, do you still have your H100 also? Like yourself I collected many of Klaus' Hammond recordings & spent many hours listening & playing along with them. I will upload some more similar again soon, thanks for listening & commenting, best wishes. Bill
@@billtus Thanks Billtus for your response! Yes, I still have a H100. In 1978 I bought my first H112 but in 1979 I needed the money to buy me a Wersi Helios which I used 10 years on my solo music jobs.
But in 2003 I got me a H100 again and I still love it and the Vibrato-Scanner sound. I have changed the Banjo Perc. to a 2-2/3' + 1' perc. because I will use this more than the 'banjo perc'. That was a bit of personal organ info!
I like your playing and bringing the K.W. style and sound alive again.
Greetings from Carsten P from Denmark
Love this such a catchy tune
Thank you, best wishes Bill
Love the Crossovers in this like at 3.07 and plenty Crossovers!
Thanks for listening & your kind comment, much appreciated! Best wishes. Bill
@@billtusNo problem it’s a pleasure watching 😊

Thanks Alex, you play guitar / keyboards very well also👍
Excellent.
Thanks for your comment Jason, regards Bill
👍👍❤Ez remek buli volt 😊😊❤👍👍 Köszönöm.
Thanks for listening, best wishes Bill
Very well played and I know that is impossible to play his way in one take, of course some parts have to be pre-recorded. By the way, do you know how he did the drums, guitar and bass parts on his recordings?.
Hi,thanks for your comment, on early recordings he used session musicians, guitar, bass, drums for real rhythm group backing but on later recordings he played bass / drum parts himself 👍best wishes Bill
@@billtus In the Hammond Pops series you think were session musicians or himself?. Thanks for taking your time to answer my questions.
