Fellow Christians I've been thinking lately, how do you know God is talking to you vs. you talking to yourself in your head?
At 14:30 my chest just melted. ✨ Everything she says after that is SO TRUE. (along with everything else she said of course but you get my point)
YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT IN. You have to push into God over and over and over cuz at first it's hard to feel Him. But then the more you push the more you start to feel Him and then after years of pushing you will be amazed at how quickly you can find your peace thru Jesus so quick when something bothers you. Spend time with God as much as possible. He literally heals your soul the more and more you meditate and talk with God. I've seen it happen with my own life.

This was a good sermon and yet it is me who must walk with God regardless of all circumstances. Good sermons come and go but do they stick in mind, soul and spirit? Only those who do the will of the Father inherit the kingdom of God. We will be hated by everyone because Jesus says the word. Are we ready for it? When I first heard that JM was coming to speak in Honolulu back in 2000. I was excited. I wanted to see her in person and to hear the word of God. I’ve been listening to her sermons since the late 90s because my mom always watched her on tv. We were also blessed to have the front row seats. When it was over. I felt so rejuvenated in God’s word and you felt the anointing on JM.

Been getting suicidal thoughts because of how tough life has been lately. I can't even pray and have lost hope but keep pushing myself to remember how i tell my two kids that life has seasons and that they change. No situation stays the same. This too shall pass

The election has generated fear and anxiety on all sides but God has called us to trust in His will. Does Christ want us to be filled with fear of the strangers (or foreigners) among us, be they legal or illegal immigrants, refugees, assylum seekers, or migrants? Should we be so fearful that we can no longer demonstrate the love and mercy of Christ so that we may win over their hearts and minds to Christ? We cannot be an effective witness by attacking others (out of our own fear or feeling threatened) but rather by demonstrating the grace of Christ so that others may see that Jesus lives in our hearts. So, please let us encourage each other to demonstrate the mercy, love, and compassion of Christ, even to those we may be reluctant to trust, such as, the foreigners among us.
I am not advocating for refugees or migrants, but rather that encouraging us to remain true to the teachings of Christ especially when we are being tested, as we have been set apart for this purpose. Are we not called to show mercy and love of Christ to others regardless of whether they are citizens of our country or newcomers, strangers, immigrants, foreigners or even follow another religion? Didn’t the Good Samaritan show considerable mercy and kindness to a stranger who was outside of his race (Luke 10: 29-37? Did he ridicule the stranger or attack him with harsh words or condemn him with false accusations? Didn’t Jesus say that we must show others mercy and that the mercy of God would be in the same measure to us (see Luke 6:36, James 2:13-18)?
What would Jesus think about and say about how we treat refugees, legal or illegal immigrants, asylum seekers, or even migrants-would God be pleased or ashamed of how we often fail to treat them the way we would like to be treated in similar circumstances? Jesus said, “I was a stranger and you invited me in.”-Matthew 25:35 (NIV). See and treat others as you would Jesus. The bible tells us not to oppress or mistreat foreigners (Exodus 23:9, Leviticus 19:33-34)) but to honour their dignity and humanity and love them as yourselves (Leviticus 19:34). Show hospitality to strangers as they may be angels who you have shown kindness to (Hebrews 13:1-2).
May we be worthy of the salvation that we have received and the glory we will be bestowed upon His return and/or in His kingdom. May we do this by practicing the teachings of Christ, even when they are challenging, so that we may be the children of God and allow Christ to live through us.

I think where the hesitation comes in about giving to church is when the pastors are living a lavish lifestyle (several million dollar homes, expensive cars, travels, high end clothes) and they continue to ask for people to give. My grandma always said it's not a sin to be wealthy, it's a sin to be greedy. That has always stuck with me as I've given to others. We live in such an instant gratification society. When people give to church, they expect an instant reward. When some of us do take steps in faith and reach out, there's not even a thank you or acknowledgement of any good being done. Sometimes a THANK YOU can be life changing.

I love your sermons, especially the ines on faith. My life has been crazy at best but i have an unusual amount od faith in god as i always have. I have made many mistakes in my life but thankfully our god is a forgiving god. I know that he has a way for my life, i just have to get right with him and walk in his way. Its hard to change but i can do all things through christ who strengthens me. I am so glad you took that extra step and had faith enough to speak when it was hard.
