Fear is from the devil I have generalized anxiety disorder for 23 years I endured a lot of trauma in my life that left me fearful .I also have ptsd from the trauma’s but my love for God & belief is more powerful than any fear or trauma.Faith over fear that’s how I live my life now without the help of meds .
Fear has affected my physical health. I have gone to the ER several times because my mind has manifested these things in my body. Please pray for me that God strengthens my mind in Jesus name

I've always wanted to meet Pastor Charles Stanley in person, and was sad upon learning of his passing recently; but I realized since he's my brother in Christ, it brought me joy knowing I will actually get to meet such a faithful servant of the Most High God after all - in heaven! I praise God for this man who served Him so faithfully. God is so good, and through this ministry, I'm sure millions have been saved by the preaching of the Good News about our Savior, Jesus.
I am not too sure why i am posting this but i beleive in god and in Jesus however i suffer from depression and anxitey for many years. I know that God loves me but it is hard sometimes when i am at my lowest to sense he is with me. I have cried out to him and i have even thought about suicide... i know these things are not from God but it is hard to shut the negitive thinking off sometimes. I am on anti depression meds and i pray everyday. I really do love God with all my heart i just hurt so much sometimes and in those times i find it really hard to hear him.... i wont give up and i will still pray and love him i am just writting this for anyone else whos going through the same thing. If so you are not alone, you are loved by the one true God and he will show you the way

Satan has been attacking me mentally since I was a little girl. I’ve never met someone as nervous & fearful as me. I’m scared of everything. I lost my job, my car got totaled & I am hours from family. I survived last night but I’m still fearful. The sun is setting and I feel my chest getting tight.
Remember that God loves you. He always with you when you feel alone. He is awesome God. Give all your fears to God and he will take care of it for you. You can do this.
It is a common tactic of the enemy to try and get us to take on the identity of fear. Sadly, for some of us, this does start very early in our lives. However we must stand firm on the truth of God's Word. We must internalize 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Then we must fight for it. Not on our own, but with God. It takes time for our minds and bodies to catch up with this true if fear has been dominant in our lives for a long time. It starts with internalizing the truth of God’s Word. Saturate yourself with it. Read the Word, pray the Word, speak the Word, listen to the Word, and live like the Word says. The Holy Spirit will help you. Ask Him often to help you. I cannot emphasize this enough. Always ask Him to help you. We cannot do this in our own power but by God’s and God's alone. Seek to know more about who God is and who He has made you to be. As we do this, lies are replaced with truth and fear is replaced with faith. When we persevere in God’s strength to do this, we start changing. We become less fearful and refute the things that try to plage of minds. It is a process, but the process is guaranteed. To help you, I recommend the sermon Godly Meditation on this channel. In fact, there are several messages about fear in addition to this one as well other helpful foundational truths like obedience to God as well. (I mention obedience since obedience helps us have discipline and discipline is needed to get through this.) There is also the book, "Victory Over the Darkness: Realize the Power of Your Identity in Christ," by Neil T. Anderson. It is a scripture based guide to help you practically learn to apply the truths of Scripture to renew your mind and become the person Christ empowers you to be. I'm reading this book and listening to what I recommended, because I too have struggled with fear since childhood. Some of it emotional, some of it spiritual, and some of it clinical, as I have general anxiety. I'm not saying you also have anxiety since that's something that is determined by your doctor but comfirmed by prayer. I'm saying as others, you are not alone. I also want to to know that it's hard in the beginning and sometimes after depending on who you are and what you're going through. But not only God is faithful, willing, and able to help you, He will not leave you or forsake you (Joshua 1:1-9). It may be difficult to see yourself free but remember, Jesus already paid the price for your freedom and "who the Son makes free, is free indeed." (John 8:31-36) So take it one day at a time, walking with God. If the day is to long, take it by morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night (I'm building the habit of doing check-ins at these intervalsto make sure I'm ok). If that's to long take it hour by hour or minute by minute. And don’t beat yourself up if in the process if you find yourself doing something you did not want to do or being more fearful than you expected yourself to be. Remember, Jesus already overcame that for you too (John 16:33).

We fear because we don t know!
Satan has been attacking me mentally since I was a little girl. I’ve never met someone as nervous & fearful as me. I’m scared of everything. I lost my job, my car got totaled & I am hours from family. I survived last night but I’m still fearful. The sun is setting and I feel my chest getting tight.
Remember that God loves you. He always with you when you feel alone. He is awesome God. Give all your fears to God and he will take care of it for you.
You can do this.
You are absolutely not alone. This I guarantee you. Seeking help is a strength and not a weakness
I’ve been consumed by fear for most of my life. I refused to see it and claim it. I decided today I will give it to Jesus. I can’t do it anymore.
Please be strong in the Lord. It will be okay. Godmloves you unconditionally.
It is a common tactic of the enemy to try and get us to take on the identity of fear. Sadly, for some of us, this does start very early in our lives. However we must stand firm on the truth of God's Word. We must internalize 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Then we must fight for it. Not on our own, but with God.
It takes time for our minds and bodies to catch up with this true if fear has been dominant in our lives for a long time. It starts with internalizing the truth of God’s Word. Saturate yourself with it. Read the Word, pray the Word, speak the Word, listen to the Word, and live like the Word says. The Holy Spirit will help you. Ask Him often to help you. I cannot emphasize this enough. Always ask Him to help you. We cannot do this in our own power but by God’s and God's alone.
Seek to know more about who God is and who He has made you to be. As we do this, lies are replaced with truth and fear is replaced with faith. When we persevere in God’s strength to do this, we start changing. We become less fearful and refute the things that try to plage of minds. It is a process, but the process is guaranteed.
To help you, I recommend the sermon Godly Meditation on this channel. In fact, there are several messages about fear in addition to this one as well other helpful foundational truths like obedience to God as well. (I mention obedience since obedience helps us have discipline and discipline is needed to get through this.)
There is also the book, "Victory Over the Darkness: Realize the Power of Your Identity in Christ," by Neil T. Anderson. It is a scripture based guide to help you practically learn to apply the truths of Scripture to renew your mind and become the person Christ empowers you to be.
I'm reading this book and listening to what I recommended, because I too have struggled with fear since childhood. Some of it emotional, some of it spiritual, and some of it clinical, as I have general anxiety. I'm not saying you also have anxiety since that's something that is determined by your doctor but comfirmed by prayer. I'm saying as others, you are not alone. I also want to to know that it's hard in the beginning and sometimes after depending on who you are and what you're going through. But not only God is faithful, willing, and able to help you, He will not leave you or forsake you (Joshua 1:1-9).
It may be difficult to see yourself free but remember, Jesus already paid the price for your freedom and "who the Son makes free, is free indeed." (John 8:31-36) So take it one day at a time, walking with God. If the day is to long, take it by morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night (I'm building the habit of doing check-ins at these intervalsto make sure I'm ok). If that's to long take it hour by hour or minute by minute. And don’t beat yourself up if in the process if you find yourself doing something you did not want to do or being more fearful than you expected yourself to be. Remember, Jesus already overcame that for you too (John 16:33).
I am going through a UNBEARABLY DIFFICULT time right now! This sermon by Dr Stanley(R.I.P.), was the MOST POWERFUL message I have EVER HEARD in my life! Everyone, please pray for my situation. I have suicidal thoughts.
