@Brent Farnsley thank you seriously I have the exact issue and your video helped me make the fix today and saved me a lot of money. I appreciate your video
Thanks for sharing I have a leak on my daughters car and I'm thinking this is what it is since it is too high for the oil pan, I'll be checking this out and fixing it now. Thanks again.
How did y’all fix this? I tried to pull on the connector and I could not remove it to replace the oil pressure switch. Also it was really tough to get to. I had to stick my arm through the wheel well while the car was lifted, which is nerve wracking. Any advice??
Power steering and belt tensioner both need to be moved. I replaced the belt while I was changing that vtc seal. Yes I know this is a late comment but I did this today lol
Do you recall the part number for the v tech solenoid gasket and oil pressure sensor by chance? I've gone to the Honda dealership a few times now and they keep giving me the wrong parts and it has become annoying because it is delaying time to fix problems. Thank you.
Great vid.please show more possible oil leaks on passenger side.i have a 03 also.everytime i google 03 its always a 02 or 05 or something different Thank you for the great vid
try replacing the valve coner gasket.make sore it seats well on the back and slsn apply a little gasket sealer on left and rigjt side of block where cover seats .and forgoodness torque it to specs and also in the torque sequence pattern
I’m having a leak on my passenger side in the rear of my Honda Accord 2005 2.4 do you think it could be my vtec as well cause it does look like it’s dripping right under where the vtec is
Best generation? It has the worst fuel efficiency out of all versions, and engine bay access for knock sensor/PCV/solenoids, etc. kinda sucks. There are other issues, but I do like the vehicle.
My 02 CRV engine mounts are all broken, and yet it still goes strong, even the lower crontrol arms are shot and it drives like normal. Maybe its because its bolted on to the frame very good? Who knows...206k and going strong
Very helpful I was thinking it needed a new valve cover gasket
Short vid but very helpful. Thanks!

Thanks Brent!!! You Da Man!!!
It could also be leaking from the oil pressure switch below the VTEC selenoid.
yup that was my problem

You can actually move the power steering line out of the way. Two bolts I think

Yes, I do believe it is the same issue. This is very common with VTEC Hondas.
I got 2002 Honda CRV same Copper 🖒I got power steering leak🙁I hope it's just a hose clamp 😃TY for this vid 🖒will let U know 🤘
Check your hose orings there are two that always leak.
Why does it AUTO LOCK? when I first got Crv i got locked out with keys on seat TWICE😂anyway can immobilizer be turned off? TY 🖒202k miles
bast bet....just replace the whole thing.same amount of work basically.domt forget to torque it to specs,if over torqued,it will leak again.
