I'm a mother of two grown ups and a Grandmother. I've worked as a pediatric nurse and I see people deeply. This has nothing to do with shyness. She needs to be able to choose her safe company and that's why she's more relaxed at home and with you two. We need to innerstand that our babies are their own person and not to be tossed around for adults amusement. Even if they don't speak, they do signal and communicates their needs. The only thing we as mothers needs to do, is to listen to, nature and take care of our babies. Fathers need to provide and protect for their and the mothers needs.
