Great video, Jason. That was old school farming. Manure from the barnyard. Gravel driveway and gravel roads. It's how I remember it. The TW-35 is a great looking tractor and that one has been well kept!
We just spread manure today. Ran three spreaders , NH 185 hooked to a 7700 Ford, NH 195 hooked to a TW5 series2 and a Knight 8132 hooked to a 9700 Ford.
A 195 will probably be my next spreader. I have a 190 currently and it’s a bit of a bastard child. I’ve had a lot of trouble with the web in it lately. It does a hell of a job, great capacity, great spread pattern, just starting to show its age
Wow is that one sharp Ford TW-35 !!! We had alot of New Holland spreaders on our farm. We decided to buy a ABI attachments 185 classic made in Lancaster Pennsylvania. It's designed specifically for equine and it has been a amazing spreader very well built. My neighbor farm has a new holland 185 and that's a nice attachment as well for dairy. It's held up well through the years
Excellent video big T 👍👍👍 TW-35 nice. Drove one pulling a lube wagon in a mine back in the 90s . Then when the clutch went they hired in a 8830 power shift. That was nice...
It's great to see those older and smaller equipment that was run back in the 1970's that was big then that farmers still run many out of nessarly because of cost. Shows farming still is done that way today but on a smaller scale!
We have one of the original 1997 models with double beaters and the optional pan under the lower beater. We have rebuilt both the floor drive and the right angle gearbox for the beater drive, the lower beater and replaced the upper beater. We also added the hydraulic floor drive at some point, can’t remember exact time. It looks a little rough these days but it’s still going today! In 2010 we got a second spreader that does most of the spreading, a Kuhn prospread 1160 with vertical beaters.
When we started farming in 1985 we had a NH513 spreader with no endgate. A couple years later when we got rich, we bought a run down 519 that had an endgate for $400. After spending a little over $700 on a bed chain and a bunch of other parts we had ourselves a major upgrade.
@@Oldschoolrules123 I cut handholds in the plywood to lift it up and out. Usually left a pile of manure on the ground and sometimes on my boots. We were pretty happy to upgrade to a spreader with a tailgate!
Hey Jason Great setup and equipement Great ford tractor in Alsace in France a farmer friend of my boss and mee have a white 2-135 and tw35 with this manure sprayer
We had I think it was a 165 New Holland for years, and it was an ok spreader, but after we upgraded to a Tube-line 275, it would be hard going back to a horizontal beater spreader. We pulled the New Holland with the Oliver 77 a lot of times, and if it was icey, we used the OC6 already. The Tube-line takes a bigger horse, though, and 1000 pto
I worked at Ford when the tractor business began phasing out into a partnership with NH. When that company was later sold and we left the tractor business, it was a sad day at Ford.
I use a Case IH 540 box spreader to haul horse manure and compost and a New Idea 3110 side slinger slurry spreader to haul wet layer chicken manure. Both pulled with my McCormick CX 105.
Well built spreader indeed, I just don't like horizontal beaters. We use a Hagedorn hydra-spread 277 and when you need to knock out those acres and you don't have vertical beaters? The hours and work add up when you don't have a lot of time to spread.
It’s a cool farm. I featured their G-1355 this week. The 185 and chisel plow video is directly liked on the end screen of the video. The G-1050 I featured taking hay a few years ago.
There a very good manure spreader. We bought a NH new in 2013 with pretty much all the options for $19,750. It's amazing how the prices have climbed over the years. We don't used it much we maybe have 30 loads over the years. They have there place. They work better in applications where bridging might occur like you would have in a V type spreader. In my opinion they dont spread quite as nice V type spreader. We primarily user a Kuhn/Knight SLC126 side slinger, v spreader, whatever guys like to call them. We pull that primarily with our IH 1586. Still the NH 195 is a very good spreader
New Hollands are the best designed spreader but ever since Fiat bought them the quality has continued to go to 💩. Since 1972 we've ran a new 329, used 514, used 680, new 145, and currently new 155. The 329 was used with a jd 520 or 60, the rest a Ford 7710. The 155 I bought new in 2012 for $12,000 and its the worst quality. I'm on the second end gate and its already weak and busting out, the front panel has been replaced, paddles crack and break, the sides are all cracked along the bottom angle brace and they won't warranty them only if rusted through. Design and mechanically they're great but material and quality is bad enough i may look at other options.
Gear box to light dual aprons a nightmare have to be kept tight or catch on under frame an they do not warranty the sides anymore anything sense 2012 will rust in less 5 years buy a hs better made
What a shot at 7:00. You got Old Glory, a TW35, corn crib, White Field Boss, and a dually OBS all in one spot. God Bless America
Should be a poster!
The only product New Holland wouldn’t stand behind!
Buh-dum dump.
Solidly built manure spreader right there. Not often that one sees a two wheel drive TW 35 tractor - a real beast back in the day.
Great video, Jason. That was old school farming. Manure from the barnyard. Gravel driveway and gravel roads. It's how I remember it. The TW-35 is a great looking tractor and that one has been well kept!
That TW-35 looks like a monster of a 2wd tractor
That spreader really does a nice job. Best fertilizer out there. Thanks Jason 👍🏻.

Looks a bit like a trip back in time. A good trip.

As someone who works for a NH dealership, I bought a H&S spreader.
I have a 2005 195 spreader. Works great and couldn't be any happier. Has hydraulic floor chain which is the cats meow.
Very cool spreading team😉👍 that TW looks amazing👍👍
We have owned 2 over the last 35 years good spreaders
Excellent video big T 👍👍👍
TW-35 nice. Drove one pulling a lube wagon in a mine back in the 90s . Then when the clutch went they hired in a 8830 power shift. That was nice...
Cool ford and new holland spreading manure

I love that big blue machine ! Regards from germany
That ford looks in fantastic condition! Here in the UK stuff rusts and rots like crazy
Hello! It's nice to watch a fine TW...

Nice set up, reminds me of a product picture in a farm magazine years ago.
Great video as usual.... good day to not have smellavison.... Stay safe, Tim in Texas

My stepfather bought a new spreader without a gate and I had to use plywood and stop to pick it up after spreading the load.
@@Oldschoolrules123 I cut handholds in the plywood to lift it up and out. Usually left a pile of manure on the ground and sometimes on my boots. We were pretty happy to upgrade to a spreader with a tailgate!
wonderful video, we used one for many years!!!!!
Thank you jason for this video my daughter use a NEW HOLLAND 155 ON THERE FARM YES ITS SHOWING ITS WEAR BUT STILL WORKS YET.
My favourite tractor ride growing up was spreading
👌💯Excellent👌 video
That TW35 looks good! Last of the Romeo Michigan tractors I think? 🤔
Must be a good JCB dealer up that way too!!

Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri

Running a Meyer 9524 w/ s100 spreader attachment with scales and Topcon controller linked to GS5 pulled by an 8310R tractor. Had a Tebbe 180 before.
I worked at Ford when the tractor business began phasing out into a partnership with NH. When that company was later sold and we left the tractor business, it was a sad day at Ford.
Oddly satisfying....
When my stepfather finally bought a new spreader,he didn't bother getting a back gate . I had to use a piece of plywood.
I use a Case IH 540 box spreader to haul horse manure and compost and a New Idea 3110 side slinger slurry spreader to haul wet layer chicken manure. Both pulled with my McCormick CX 105.
Very cool spreaders and tractor. Thank you for sharing.
I know a lot of politicians that are more than qualified to drive that tractor. :)

New holland makes a good spreader, but left the brand to go to larger size. Have a artsway now with vertical beater, really like it
The best spreader out there is h&s we had a270 for years a966 ih on it
Now this is a crappy video lol haha 😆. Good video 👍.
But it's the good shit...
Hello Indiana from Scotland 🏴👍
@ hey good to hear from someone across the pond 👍👍
yup i put about 200 to 250 loads through my 195, i dont have a slop gate but do have double beaters
They have at least a couple really cool old tractors on that farm. Have we already, or will we see that Field Boss in an upcoming video too?
It’s a cool farm. I featured their G-1355 this week. The 185 and chisel plow video is directly liked on the end screen of the video. The G-1050 I featured taking hay a few years ago.
@@bigtractorpower I did see the video that is linked here. I just thought this might be yet another tractor they have there.
We run a 2022 pikrite 440 vertical beater with either a John Deere 4450 or 4455.
👏👏👍👍👌👌🚜🚜
We have a 195 on our farm we pull it with a John Deere 4020 though.
.... It's not like cake batter.... You don't get to lick the beaters..... 🤔🤭
What's the Field Boss in your vidya?
New Holland T6.145 Hagedorn 275

Very nice video as well.
What's the strategy here? They don't have enough manure to cover the entire field so do they just hit the areas that had low yields?
Their #1 business is #2
only new holland pa , wood build a conventional poo-flinger that big !! 😅😅😅
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET Ford Stepside p/u !!!

That is a tw30
It is a TW35. The decal is a TW35. This is my friends tractor.
Looks like a shitty deal. Lol
Junk then, junk now.
