But that still leaves the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?

I love when you go back beyond the mid80s and have guys from the earlier years. I also love when non wrestlers are fighting. May you can do an all time cast of great show seasons like the main characters of Seinfeld plus all the quirky reoccurring characters or MASH etc… I’d also like to see a famous duos fight. Batman and Robin the odd couple Abbott and Costello etc…
Great video Ricky!! Just letting you know for future reference there's already an 80's Hogan in the game you unlock him and Bruno Sammartino by winning the Fatal Four way bonus match in the John Cena showcase
70scabd 80s action figure rumble would be great! 70’s GI Joe with the king fu grip and furry hair and beard, big Jim, evel kneivel, action Jackson, the fonz Star Wars figures 6 million dollar man micronauts, the funny hair trolls, stretch Armstrong!

As a member of the Hollywood Blondes Stone Cold was known as Stunning Steve Auston. I do remember him at one time being called the Ringmaster, but I can't remember what Wrestling league he was in at the time.
Ricky, when you beat the John Cena showcase in WWE 2k23 you get a 1980's Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino. Also congratulations to the winner of this Rumble. This was a cool Rumble
Ricky to answer your question ric flair was in his early 30s in early 80s by 89 he was 40. He had a bad back and had been through a lot from the plane crash in the 1970s
Hey Ricky, the thing with Ric Flair and Hogan looking old to you when you were young is too familiar too me because it was the same to me. 😄 My thoughts about it are, that it has something to do with the bleached Hair. That it looks for Kids like "Old People Hair". 😁
Maybe I'm the only one that wants to see it but I have been asking and asking for you to do and all bloodline Royal rumble. 30 of the Samoan bloodline in 1 rumble to see who truly is the head of the. I know there has to be at least 30 of them. And I know there are some that might be on The Independents are just starting their careers but that would be an amazing rumble to see as the Samoan bloodline battle it out in a Royal rumble to see who is the real tribal chief.
12:53 Flair looked older because his platinum blond hair looked white. Plus every time you saw him on TV he was wearing a suit or sportcoat and that made him look like a dad.
Stunning Steve Austin was his name in WCW. Then the switch into WWE, Ted Debiase brought him in, as his Million Dollar Champion Gamemaster? I think? Then quickly changed it to Steve Austin or just Stunning Steve?
Here's an interesting idea.. The promoters Royal Rumble! 1. Vince McMahon Sr (WWWF) 2. Vince McMahon Jr (WWF/WWE) 3. Jim Crockett Jr (JCP/NWA) 4. Vern Gagne (AWA) 5. Bill Watts (Mid South) 6. I just wondered, are there enough simpsons characters in the creation zone for a Simpsons rumble I wonder. Could be hilarious. Anyway, another awesome video.
Hey Ricky what about the Undertaker I seen the Hardy boys before Jeff and Matt now their on AEW and Chris Jericho is on AEW now even Sting is on it and C . M. Punk .
I don't know if the AI is getting better or if this was just a lucky one-off but there was a lot of good wrestling in this rumble. Especially Austin Sting at the finish.
How about you do a DLC Royal Rumble. Now there are a total of 24 DLC wrestlers but the rumble should also include AJ Styles, Carmello Hayes, Erik, Ivar, Julius and Brutus Creed since they are all apart of tag teams that are DLC.

They say that age itself is but a number, that what really matters is what you do with the years that you have. These competitors put that knowledge to the test as the young and older versions of themselves compete against one another with one of them securing a place in the champion’s rumble. Individually, we know what each of these competitors are capable of having seen them in action over the years. Some of us have followed their careers since their debut in wrestling, and others were only just introduced to these men during the later stages of their career. For me, I had known wrestlers like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar when they were just starting out in the business and what they would eventually accomplish moving forward (I wasn’t even introduced to WWE until sometime in the 2000s).
Sadly, it wasn’t those guys that emerged victorious in this rumble… it was Sting, or in this case the Sting from the ‘Surfer’ period. Whenever we hear the name ‘Sting’, we mostly remember him for the time he made a gimmick based off ‘The Crow’, the leather jacket, the bats, and cawing out to the audience. While technically he was starting out in the Continental Wrestling Association, it wouldn’t be until he got into the Jim Crocket Promotions, specifically World Championship Wrestling, when folks would truly know the man known as ‘Sting’. Now this younger version of himself is on his way to the champion’s rumble where he hopes to obtain the biggest championship win of this series.
But who was my MVP of this ‘Young vs. Old’ rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty stars featured in this match, fifteen of the competitors we know and their start-up careers, a record EIGHTEEN competitors (6 youth versions, and 12 older versions) secured the most eliminations. The highest count of the day reached only ‘3’ eliminations, but that’s still two points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to:
Surfer Sting
Although it’s kind of cheating to give the winner of the rumble the medal, between him and three other competitors that scored the most eliminations the odds were more in favor for Sting. That, and the major difference in terms of length in the match was merely by ‘one’ spot in the match. Adding the combined score from his older version, which honestly wasn’t a lot, Sting was at least able to tie against Ric Flair’s combined run in his young and adult years. That to me is what I would call a major accomplishment.
The Dull Participation Medal for ‘lamest’ performance goes to:
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin
While I praise the ‘Stunning’ comeback performance for young Steve Austin, ‘Stone Cold’ run ended the moment he stepped into the ring. While it’s the older Steve Austin I am most familiar with, seeing the way he came in and out of that match so quickly… that honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. To give him credit, his performance was not as bad as Undertaker’s, both young and old (See my chart above), but honestly this one moment in the whole match was just too difficult to ignore. It pained me to have to give him a medal for this because I’d ‘still’ would’ve given him the medal even if his younger version emerged as the winner.

That was such a classic Heel & Babyface ending. Heel having the Babyface in a submission to a Babyface come back. IT'S STING!

“The Goldbergs” that sounds like a TV series 😂

Haha
Hogan always getting his way
I think that Flair would have been in his mid 30's in the 80's. What's impressive is how he survived a broken back after a plane crash in 1975.
Awesome rumbles as usual 👏🏻👏🏻
Good video as always Rick, a big hug! A masked fight
or something like this! Fighters with the outfit that debuted... against those of now... beginners vs professionals!
Thx my friend

Oh yeah Ricky also the super friends vs the legion of doom Hanna Barbara 😊😊
Honky Tonk man is basically Elvis Presley in a nutshell. Possibly an Elvis impersonator.
In WCW, he was "Stunning" Steve Austin.
10:03 HBK sweet chin to Andre The Giant right away as he got in the ring was epic! 😂

What about a WWE Vs Alliance Royal Rumble featuring everyone involved in the storyline?
I loved this episode
Thx carlos my brother!!
Hello Mr. Ricky J. How are you doing today? The answer to how old Ric Flair was in 88? He was 39
Thx sky!!
@@RickyJSports No problem your totally welcome
👍🏿, what a ending
Hey Ricky, why not do a Scottish Rumble?
How about the best Jobbers of all time? Al Snow, Spike Dudley, Gillburg, Gangrel etc.
12:53 Flair looked older because his platinum blond hair looked white. Plus every time you saw him on TV he was wearing a suit or sportcoat and that made him look like a dad.
Awesome royal
in 1988 ric flair would have been 39 mint rumble ricky
Stunning Steve Austin was his name in WCW. Then the switch into WWE, Ted Debiase brought him in, as his Million Dollar Champion Gamemaster? I think? Then quickly changed it to Steve Austin or just Stunning Steve?

How about you do a DLC Royal Rumble. Now there are a total of 24 DLC wrestlers but the rumble should also include AJ Styles, Carmello Hayes, Erik, Ivar, Julius and Brutus Creed since they are all apart of tag teams that are DLC.
