I have the Ridgid similarly shaped vac, but the battery power is a real selling point. I would, of course, buy the 10 ft Ridgid hose to go with this unit, because it's the best
Would love to see you guys review the Makita XGT vacuum. Battery powered and has 148 CFM and 92" of water lift. Vs 109 CFM and 77" of water lift for the double battery version of this vacuum.
@@mulchman2000 Sure but he said this Milwaukee was probably the most powerful cordless vacuum he had tried. I was simply mentioning the above as that is (on paper at least) a decently more powerful battery-powered vacuum. Would love to see a good side by side comparison.
would like to see a comparison between this unit and the dual battery one if they offer that to you, im up north and currently this is the only model available for pre order at HD i dont see the other two models, was hoping to get the tiny 6gallon canister on the 2 battery power head, power without the size for carrying into customers homes, want the power but im not doing huge volumes where emptying the 6 gallon tub would be too annoying
i have this model and the ridgid 9 gallon 2 battery model , i find myself reaching for the ridgid much more often as it is lighter and has about the same suction, also with the ability to use 2 batteries(not required) the vacuum lasts longer, btw the ridgid is half the price

That bag feature sold me I was going to buy it anyway since I love the m18 2gal so much like you mentioned tho sometimes you need full size I almost bought the ridged battery powered shop vac last year glad I waited
@@mainsource8030 true but then I have to buy 2 ridged batteries so its about the same price and I have to rotate 2 batteries vs having plenty of extra m18s
Great review! After testing the single battery head, would you estimate the dual battery head will be incremental or significantly more powerful than the single battery head? Would the single head be sufficient for DIYers (not professional)?
@@6734126 I now have the dual head motor and it’s awesome. Tons of suction power even low mode. Battery runtime is very acceptable. Overall, I’m impressed with the unit!
Received earlier in this month- it’s great. Tons of power. Does drain the M18 12.0AH batteries fast through, very fast. Also, wish the more powerful ones came with the bigger diameter hose- this still has the 1 7/8” hose so will be upgrading that soon.
...not sure what happened. We just came in and there was glass everywhere. Lol. This was a damaged door off of a truck, and we purchased another door with the window included. Thanks for watching.
When they add the option to plug it into the wall as well, i will buy it. They did it once with a work light and it seems never again? Tired of this predatory “sell each feature individually” garbage. It’s too much nowadays.
This “3.5HP” marketing around the regular vacuums is just plain ABSURD. I can consume 20HP and not produce any suction. Power consumption and output have NO relationship. Also, you CANNOT get 3.5HP from the wall - that’s over 2500W, further proving the stupidity of calling anything 3.5HP 🤣

Ridgid hose wouldn't fit, Milwaukee sell a 16ft hose though
I like the orange ridged hose a lot. But the Milwaukee hose is just as good. Theu are pretty much identical besides the color
@@bread-gz3rl if you break the clip on the end of the ridgid hose it fits. Not as secure though
Great job and video. Amazing information and demo. Thank you. Love this unit, think going to pick this one up.

Kind of different price categories.. $700 vs $300. I would hope the Makita is better.

Where does one get the filter bag
Excellent review. Thank you. -- Just bought one. Learning.
Great Review! i’m going to invest in one based on your presentation…
Glad it was helpful! That's pressure right there. :) Let us know if it lives up to what we showed. Thanks for watching.
the bags make any vac work well. def try them out if you never had

I just looked. At Home Depot the Milwaukee is $250 (with an additional $70 accessory kit).
The Rigid is $200. Unless I have the wrong ones?

I’ve got two pony Stanley backs 4 hp got maybe 40 dollars in both Black Friday several years ago love them think I will keep that money in my pocket
Can't blame you for that at all. Thanks for watching.
Need one with a liquid output pump so I don’t have to dump it.
Great video.
Ordered mine a month or more ago. ETA August. 😞
Ugh! That's a little frustrating. Thanks for letting us know. We'll check on this. Thanks for watching.
How do you like it? I'm loving mine!

Drink a shot every dude says, "residual."
Amazing review
Glad you think so! Thank you very much and thanks for watching.
Pretty cool!
I would have liked to hear this conversation with the customer hey can we break your window for a TH-cam video?

Would my red lithium 5.0 batteries that came with my mikwaukee high torque impact wrench work in this unit?
Yes but not a long runtime
Yes, just not as long, obviously.
Would you say that this new vacuum has the same sucking power as the fuel vacuum packout
I have the 2 battery version. It's about 2X as powerful as the m18 packout. From looking at the specs ^^ this one is roughly 1.5X more powerful.
A lot of things they could improve on
👍👍👍
i getting 2 battery version but all versions are nice.
I noticed it didn’t seal around the connection point when you put the bag in . Not too good

Small enough to carry around
Do the kobalt 24v 3gallon vac vs M18 vac
Anyone try inflating a raft ?
Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard the word residual in this video
WTF is he screaming... did he stick his head inside the vacuum to test it out or something?!
Turn that vacuum on and stop all that talking 😂
too expensive
