Ladies, we just got back from our trip to Nice (visiting many of your suggestions from your excellent channel)! Went to both of Fenocchio’s locations you mentioned-delicious, delicious! I am in love with Rose and Violet! Too bad we didn’t know about Arlequin-guess we’ll just have to go back to your lovely corner of the world! Thank you again for your great content, it really provided excellent guidance for our vacation! 😊
Thank you very much, so glad to hear!!! And happy you enjoyed your trip! 🤩 Just before publishing this video (too late! 🫣) another friend told us about his favourite ice cream place in Nice, it’s half way out towards the airport so not necessarily easy to reach when visiting the main tourist spots, but for those who are in that area: you should try Gelato d’Amore in 125 Rue de France. And let us know what you think!
It was wonderful meeting you! Especially talented and BEAUTIFUL TH-camrs!!!! 🎉I love your videos. They are alwasy fun, colorful and contains great up to date insider's stories which were very helpful for my trip! Thank you both of you 🙏🏼. I would love to try 🍨ARLEQUIN GELATI's pistacchio! Looks yummy! 💕
Thanks so much, Amy! Very inspiring meeting you!!! Looking forward to seeing your Côte d’Azur videos, your angle of things! Yep, next time you’re in Nice you know where to get that pistachio ice cream 🍦😉. Stay in touch! 😘
I am so grateful for your channel! It has been so helpful in planning by trip to Nice and nearby towns. Thank you for your excellent and informative work!!
My sister and I are heading to Nice in Aug & your videos have been so useful in planning the trip. I hope we bump into you guys on the street filming :):)
I have traveled extensively through Italy but the best Pizza was on a back street in Nice where the locals eat. My front desk agent at my hotel took me on a tour. Best experience ever!
@@rivierago I do not remember the name of the shop. It is two streets from off the Rivera on the left hand side. Many immigrants frequent the pizza spot. A hot spot after work hours for service workers. I had never seen pizza put in the microwave and not be soggy. I'll definitely go back in September on my bday excursion. Will give you an update then!!!
Hello there, great video ladies as always. I love Nice can’t wait to be back in July & looking forward to having more of the beautiful ice cream from Fenocchio. Please can you tell me the girl you met in Antibes what is the name of her channel thank you Hilary xx
Hey! There’s a link to Amy’s channel “The Travel Centric” in the video (at 3:37), you’ll also find it in the description in case it doesn’t work. Here it is again: youtube.com/@thetravelcentric Amy has already uploaded 2 walks from her week down here, and there’s more to come 😄
Good evening, I hope you’ve had a lovely day. Thank you so much for that I must of missed it in the video lol. I look forward to having a look at her channel & also look forward to your next video. Thank you once again take care Hilary xx 😃👍🏻
Oh my god, I can’t imagine… It gets hot on the French Riviera, but not like that. The sea evens out temperatures, so it usually won’t be much warmer than 30/32 degrees Celsius in July/August. It does get way warmer inland, however. But nowhere near 40 degrees (unless exceptional heat wave).
😋😋🤩😉👍🌞🍦....😎 hehe ! 👍🤍🥳 stop teasing, sunny girls🥴. I guess I am most interest in the place where it tastes as it sounds. Even the chocolate ice cream colour looked so much more intense. On the other hand, most of the ice-cream places are great and of great quality. Which one you said is your favourite? I know you are very polite, but tell me pls...
🫣😉😍 The ice cream at Arlequin and César had this incredibly authentic taste, perfect texture as well - so 100% recommended. At Neron we tried the fruity, colourful flavors: again, you can tell that they use quality fruits to get the delicious taste. But you need to try for yourself (also rose and violet at Fenocchio!)… I can’t remember ever having had ice cream anywhere around here that I didn’t like 😅 (sorry for beating around the bush 😉). Also: try Gelato d’Amore which is a bit farther out to the west, but apparently is so good, too
@@rivieragoNoted. 🤭👍 I know, not easy to answer when you have so many quality choices. But you understood me well I know, and I appreciate your answer and advice. It's not easy for you to answer, but imagine us....watching you sample and enjoying all those flavours 🤣😜 . Just kidding of course. Looking forward to try soon. See you girls! 🌞🤍
Crowds and heat, both. It depends on what you‘re looking for: lazy beach days and balmy nights out in restaurants and bars: July/August. Visiting places, exploring: May/June and September/October are perfect. Weather not as stable though. Escape winter time in northern places and get a lot of sun (usually), while it’s not crowded at all: Nov-March.
Like when we talked to Roberto, the ice cream maker? We’re never quite sure when things start getting too long and boring for you guys to stick around 😅

Summer in Austin Texas is 45C

I would say Arlequin.. the pistage ice cream from the pistage growing on volcanic Sicilly. Miam!!!
When is the best time to visit? Some say peak season in summer there's hugh crovds.
