I really hope this show gets a full adaptation because without spoiling anything the movie is like a punch to the gut but the later seasons hit different
Spoilers please don’t read I’m actually impressed at how well the tonal shift was made without it being cringe definitely one of my favorite manga of all time imo
and? is one of them who have the problem but he understood in the end why kaguya did what it did, he didnt like it yes but he understood and thats the point of that history.@@timkalier
Yeah, the student took video and pictures of the girlfriend during their bedroom fun times together, and was about to try passing the girlfriend off onto Ishigami. Then threatened to spread it among the school if Ishigami talked. You remember the after birthday episode where everyone knew Shirogane's birthday except for Chika? Ishigami said you never forget the birthday of the man who saved your life. That has a lot more meaning now. For what it's worth, the reason why the guy transferred out of the school, was that Kaguya informed the Schoolboard and the Schoolboard then informed the guy that he would have no future at the school.
Not the school board, but the group of students Miyuki had to deal with in the episode where Kei is introduced, the heads of the various clubs. Hayasaka thought Kaguya had just prevented him moving forward and wrecked his life, and was instead horrified to learn Kaguya told this group about Ogino's actions instead. We can only guess as to what happened to his family, but a former student council president's entire family was exiled to a remote country for insulting this group.
One of the members of the Shuuchin VIPs is the daughter of a member of the Yakuza. And also another of the members is Kashiwagi, the girl that is now girlfriend of the guy Shirogane gave love advice, so yeah she also knows about Ishigami and Ogino
Ishigami is my favorite character, the fact that he has made a lot of progress and he still suffers from failures is very poignant. He doesn't have happy or sad endings, he's just doing what he can, I'd say he's doing his best but the truth is he's still in recovery mode and "his best" can't be measured in terms of effort as easily as some anime characters. He is written like a real human being with real human problems. 12:00 Rei Onodera (the blonde girl) isn't being mean to Ishigami, she's asking how he can be so chill after such a devastating series of events, she's actually checking on his mental health in this scene which is why she's the only person in the cheerleading squad who is drawn with eyes before the race. It only makes sense after you find out he locked himself in a room and abandoned school for months, her comment was asking how he can pretend it doesn't bother him and his response reveals how much he's masking. I appreciate how intensely you empathized with the story as it unfolded. If you go back through Season 1 and 2 you will see a lot of little details that make sense when you know his backstory, he is deeply upset whenever Chika cheats in board games because it's a betrayal of trust in his eyes, he's fiercely defensive of Shirogane, he has incel-y outbursts but he's not really an incel he's just having trauma response outbursts when he gets triggered by something that legitimately destroyed his entire life (he's still out of pocket tho). Even the scene when he asks to go home because Chika called him creepy over the shampoo comment is his PTSD kicking in and he needs to LEAVE. It makes it even more emotional to realize Kaguya knows the full story and she goes out of her way to take care of him with "protective older sibling" energy. Ishigami is such a nuanced character and the whole show just gets better on consecutive rewatches because all of the characters have so many layers. If you ever rewatch the show in english dub, I think the english VA for Ishigami does a really good job of expressing the hot furious rage bottled up within his sorrow. I absolutely ship him with Miko Iino, they are two sides of the same coin
Kaguya and Shirogane Family diagram: Miyuki > Kaguya: Make her confess! Miyuki > Dad: Enough already! Miyuki > Kei: Worries about her. Dad > Kaguya: She's amusing. Dad > Miyuki: He's just a kid. Dad > Kei: She's scary. Kei > Kaguya: Admiration. Kei > Dad: Separates his laundry. Kei > Miyuki: So annoying!
Seeing Faroh's reaction solidifies my opinion that although the 3rd season is spectacular, the previous two aren't far behind. All 3 seasons are funny and very exciting.
Note: the anime left out a couple details from the manga in these set of episodes. Will put below in case you don't want to see. Firstly, when Hayasaka was asking Kaguya if she did anything about Ko Ogino, Kaguya mentioned that she informed the club president council about him - the same club president council that it was mentioend some episodes ago once sent an offending student council president overseas. Overlaid over the panel were the words, "The Shuuchin VIPs That Right Such Wrongs." So it's implied that they were the ones who had Ogino transferred out. Also, there's a manga panel of the photo that Kaguya took with everyone, and they didn't adapt it here; it's one of the most touching pieces of manga art I've seen. If you want to see it, it's at the very end of chapter 101.
your reaction to ep 11 was so relatable !! i had a headache from crying after that ep 😭😭 i cant wait for s3 !! the literal definition of peak. (along with the movie)
"Why would you unload on him? You have no idea-!" Yeah, that's the point. She has no idea. Nobody ever told her what happened; as far as she knows, Ishigami was a stalker who assaulted her boyfriend for no reason, showed no remorse, and wrecked her relationship. Nobody told her *anything* about what actually happened. It'll always bother me that this whole group of people figured out what happened, and decided to keep it a secret from the person who was most at risk. Like, imagine if her boyfriend hadn't left the school. She would have continued dating him, continued sleeping with him, all while having no idea what a piece of shit he was. She should have been the first person to be told.🙃
I honestly wasn't that moved by Ishigami's backstory initially. Like it was deep but it didn't really make me feel any sort of way. But when he opened his eyes near the end and was able to see everyone's face, yeah that kinda got me a bit. The entire time I thought they didn't have a face because they were unimportant or something. I slow clap for that one
It's ironic that miyuki's father lost his company because of the shinomiya family. But Mr.father never let shinomiya feel guilty because of that in later manga. So you can understand how legend of father he is.
@@legandari9574 It's terrible etiquette to give away any spoilers to a reactor, especially if you're talking about stuff that happens 100+ chapters after the events that they're up to. And it's supposed to be a surprise when it's revealed.

The legend of IshiGOAT, the true main character of the show
Ishigami really is a sweetheart and yeah without each other knowing both he and Miko have been supporting each other since Middle School
your reaction to ep 11 was so relatable !! i had a headache from crying after that ep 😭😭 i cant wait for s3 !! the literal definition of peak. (along with the movie)

I think that if she had stayed with him than somebody would have told her. Since she didn't there was less of a need to.
this episode hit so hard too😭😭
I KNEW THIS WOULD GET HER 😂😂😂😂
Yeah 😂
The last few episodes of S2 are my favorite episodes of the season, so much Ishigami growth 😭
49:12 lmfaoo that part had me dying, but aye get off my dawgs, they are simply men of culture 😂😂😂
All I will say is season 3 is awesome I promise you. Even better there's so so much material from the manga that hasn't even been animated yet.
Ishigami is the best. One of the best character progression ever see.
Ishigami is an true man.. the sad of to be introvert people is who you never will have credibility against the popular peoples

Before watch season 3 watch, the episode off celebration of getting season 3 ,xD its a good little episode , watch it before season 3 baby
Ishigami the best secondary character of any anime/manga for me
4:40 I think she was talking about father
She was talking about herself and how she still pretends to dislike miyuki
I honestly wasn't that moved by Ishigami's backstory initially. Like it was deep but it didn't really make me feel any sort of way. Where is season 3 😭
Now I hope to see the Oba
she won't be able to handle season 4 beacuse it's all on ishigami.....................
Not to mention if this got a full adaption i have a feeling it would rip her heart out mortal Kombat style lmao
SHIROGANA THE BEST

Spoilers
Oh papagane is a chad not only does he forgive and accept kaguya he doesn’t come home so they can do the thing lmao. A legendary father
Yeah they did it anyway.😆
Why are you posting late manga spoilers?
@@gamerfreak42 it had only 2 or three panel about is. So it's not a big issue as long as I don't say anything important.
