I was on “Family Feud” with my family and we had a thrown question. It was “Name something you would land on if you fell through a window”? It never made it to air because no one could come up with an answer on the board!
I wonder if Richard was mad that Match Game 76 was an answer LOL
This was when Family Feud was a clean family show. Not at all like what we have today. Too vulgar to watch anymore!

I believe it. Had this been after 1977, he would have been up there with his fame playing in “Roots” when also came on ABC like Family Feud.
94 people said the number 1 answer on the double question. Nothing matched that number in later episodes/incarnations. Talk about unanimous.
When "Family Feud" premiered in 1976, you didn't see the audience whenever Gene Wood said, "Let's start the 'Family Feud!'" When do you think they started to show the audience at the beginning of each episode?
Story goes that the early "Feud" episodes were taped at ABC's old Vine St. Theater in Hollywood, which had the audience seated below the stage, before it moved to ABC's Prospect Studios.
"Stalag 17" was a classic movie, not a TV show.
It's a pity that they did pretty well on fast money and get them all right, just merely couldn't make it.

So all the 1971 to 1975 episodes of Password were erased so they make space for Family Feud. Those tapes cost money

Why didn't Richard kiss any of the black women? Just an observation.
Prior to each show, the ladies were asked if they wanted Richard to kiss them or not. They probably just declined.
Well he was not really kissing the women at this point because it was the first season. He did not really start until later.
