I've been watching tutorials + reading for hours on how to do this, and finally found this! Thank you for posting, and for taking the time to answer questions. It's truly appreciated. I'll be subscribing to your channel as soon as I post this comment. 🙂
Thank you so much! You definitely saved me from spending $100+ on buying wallpaper that might not even last! Do you have a tutorial on how to paint tile? Maybe like a faux wood
If i want a light grey with same texture like you did here. Do i have to blend with other colors? Or csn i just use your method with brush techniques X shapes. And sponge
Thank you! I waited around 10 minutes before applying the 2nd coat. For the first coat, I intentionally did not mix the black and white paint so that the color would be uneven.
Really nice job. I plan on doing this soon. Were you using pure acrylic or a standard acrylic latex? And I assume all matte/flat? And I have to ask why the mask though? If you were not wanting to breath paint fumes, only a true NIOSH mask with charcoal filters would do that. And if for Covid, I don't see a lot of people standing around where that would be of any concern. I used to be a painting contractor and unless spraying I never really wore one, except with oil based paints or especially with stains.
I used pure acrylic in satin finish, but you can also use matte or flat. About the mask, I made it a standard to wear one on my videos even if most of the time I don't need it. 😄Thank you for the input.
You may be able to do this on a white/cream design, just take from this video the ratio of the paints. Replace the white and black to white and cream. 😃
Hi po please PA noticed gsto ko po e try po anu po brand ng bosen Ginamit nyo pls ito po kc ipa paint ko sa pintor ko sa coffee shop please po PA comment replay nman Kung any mga Ginamit ni sir pls thank you
Too much work, you can buy such 'concrete' look a like paints, ready to go, instead of going through all these steps and 30 different paints :D ty for the video anyways.
There is nothing lazy about that. Looks absolutely amazing.
Thanks! 😄
you just save me money with those fancy industrial paint finish :)
Glad to hear that 😀

If i want a light grey with same texture like you did here. Do i have to blend with other colors? Or csn i just use your method with brush techniques X shapes. And sponge

Glad it was helpful! 😀
Please what kind of ordinary paint you use?
That looks stunning 😍
This looks great.
Thanks! 😄
Thank you very much what paints or what color would be used to finish a type between gray and beige GREYGE...
Same type of paint, just change the paint color from white and black to light grey and brown. Same procedure. 😀
Do I need to sand the wall before painting it?
You'll have better results if you sand before painting.
If i want lighter shade of gray. Ratio should be higher % white and lower % black? Correct?
Also wanted to ask. Is it okay to use elastomeric paint, its also acrylic waterbased paint
Yes 😀
@@VonDenzelDyquiangco You can use elastomeric instead of acrylic.
@@thelazycraftsman wow nice, thanks. It's really helpful. I was really planning to use limewash paint (whch is expensive) but then i saw ur vid.
Amazing!
Thanks!! 😄
This looks great! How long did you wait before the 2nd coat? Did you really not mix the white and black paint in the tray for the 1st coat?
Thank you! I waited around 10 minutes before applying the 2nd coat. For the first coat, I intentionally did not mix the black and white paint so that the color would be uneven.
Is it gloss paint or flat
@@jeramyfortney5895 I used semi-gloss in this video. 🙂
Hi, I came acrossed your video. Is it better if I will finished with top coat ? Thanks for your kind reply.😊
Yes! Adding a top coat would help protect your wall paint. 😁
This was amazing just what I need to do thank u❤
which paint brush, please share more details on that
Nice job! Does the sheen of the original coat of white and black matter?
No, flat or gloss is okey. 🙂
this can done on woods?
Yes, this is applicable on wood. Just remember to apply wood primer before applying the acrylic paint. 🙂
Boy that paint really is dusty, glad you got your mask on.
Lol 🤣
@@thelazycraftsman thanks for the reply, your video was quite instructional and gave me some great ideas. Thanks mate.
Amazing work! How can I find thay sponge? Where did you buy it 🙌🙌
Thank you! I got my sea sponge online, but this may also be available on your local body/skin care shop. 😄
Espectacular
Thanks for this. # 758th sub here..
Thank you!! =)
Hello po..ask ko lng kung ano texture nya after?or need pa po i sand ng very light?
Smooth yung texture nya. Same with ordinary paint. No need i sand. 🙂
Good job
Thanks! 😁
What type of paint brush are you using? The only brushes I’ve seen like that are usually labeled as a “stain” brush.
I'am using a Ceiling Paint Brush, but you can use any type of paint brush (the wider the better).🙂

@@thelazycraftsman hi. what’s the difference between using acrylic and latex?
@@thatchicknyc3606 Acrylic paint is slightly more durable than latex. But they are almost interchangeable because both are water based paint.
If dont have sea sponge..have another choice?
You can try out other cellulose sponges and see if the result works for you. 😀
Love it
Thanks! 😄
Who to do it for white/cream design?
You may be able to do this on a white/cream design, just take from this video the ratio of the paints. Replace the white and black to white and cream. 😃
Thanks a lot 😊
Welcome! 😄
Pwede ba to for exterior? At sa skimcoat na k201 acrylic
Yes, pwede naman sya for exterior and sa skimcoat.
Good brooo
Thank you! 😀
👍🏻
Nice work po ❤️
No more top coat?
Better if you add top coat. =)

BOYSEN Acrylic or Latex Paint - Black
Paint Brush
Sea Sponge
12MM Tape
Round Furniture Felt Pad
Thank you po sa tulong comment God bless sir
Goodness. I thought it was supposed to be lazy when it’s more artesian.
Well, what did you expect? 😂
use nano fiber towel not sponge
I'll try that next time 😊
Tried it and was a disaster, hahahahaha. Nice tutorial
Nope!
@@user-pt2wo1ye7w lol 😆
Lazy craftsman indeed. Didnt bother to tape off the cabinets b4 painting, and got gray paint all over them..
I did place transparent tape on the cabinet. If you check out the final product, the cabinet does not have the grey paint. 😄
Absolutely unnecessary comment.
