What a coincidence on this video. I’ve been having delayed execution. No equipment or release changes for weeks now. The float on my 40 yard pig target is great for me- like what is generally a 4”-5” diameter overall. About 25% of my shots are hard to get done. The others are just smooth clean hold with the pulling already in progress as the pin settles into its smallest float. What I think may going on in my mind is the idea I have to hit a certain spot- do or die. Which adds a small anxiety. I have trouble getting that concept out of my mind. This is a hunting setup, not my 3-d rig with magnifying lens etc. I know in the real world missing a spot 2-3” on a deer is usually acceptable. I’ve got to grasp that. And accept there are extra variables to be expected with a less than optimal setup compared to a 3-d/ target rig. At 72 years old it’s not as easy as was 20 years ago. The old pin likes to float around more, lol.
