I got a nice introduction to the R program for statistical analysis in data science. You should salute yourself. You guys have done an excellent job in explaining the R program in the simplest matter. This is coming from a person who had zero experience in statistical analysis, and I understood most of it, though sometimes you went a bit too fast. Also, you could have mentioned that one can find the data packages and the script used in this video in the description below. I had hard times finding them, even after searching on the net. But after half of the video, I realized that I could download it by going to that google drive link. In the end, I want to thank you for an excellent job at explaining a complicated program for noobies like me. :D
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I am starting a uni course and I need to know how to use this software. This helped a whole lot. Very clear explanations and visually helpful.
Hi, just new to this course. It's looking great, I installed R and R Studio and would like to know where to find the R01_Intro_Files as mentioned at 3:59 in this tutorial. I cannot find it on the G-Drive link provided for course files. Please clarify. Thanks.
Actually, I discovered that everything is there but they have all been renamed, usually as simpler names without the lesson number on the front. The order I went in was InstallingR.R, Plot.R, BarCharts.R, Histograms.R, Scatterplots.R, and so on.
I have just finished the video and get some of the fundamental that I'll apply to the R, btw I have the first class for R after couple of mins. Thank you for the insightful video.
This is the best introduction to R I could have had. Thanks you very much for sharing this Video and made it freely accessable. I am interested further in R for Graphs and Tables
This is an excellent video. The audio and video are just on point. Content starts from basic to extremely useful advanced techniques. Well done. ✨🎆🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇

I discovered that everything is there but they have all been renamed, usually as simpler names without the lesson number on the front. The order I went in was InstallingR.R, Plot.R, BarCharts.R, Histograms.R, Scatterplots.R, and so on
Here R01_Intro_Files is same file named CourseFile. In this Course File, number before every file name shown in the tutorial is missing, which mean R01_2_1_Installing.R is just installing.R now and R-1_2_3_RStudio.R is just RStudio.R and so on.
Thank you so much for your course. His pace, rhythm and actual content gave me a lot. It was with great pleasure that I plunged into the world of the language R. Have a good day, good code!
Not even 4 minutes in and I had to laugh uncontrollably... Install R... "If you are on a linux computer you're probably familiar with what you need to do, so I'm not gonna run through that." Love it and looking forward to the next 2 hours :D
If you are viewing this tutorial and you are using it on windows use CNTRL R to run a line of command instead of CNTRL ENTER as he says in the video, maybe because he is using a mac and CNTRL ENTER works on Mac.
Ey man, i am halfway into your lecture and I have to give a huge thank you for your work. It is so (insert any positive superlative) good! - Sincerely, anonymous internet guy from somewhere.
I think you should move "Entering Data" section to earlier part of the clip. I feel confused with R's syntax while learning the earlier part of the clip without knowing that.
@Xyilis thanks to you dear sir, I found the file mentioned in the video and I just drop your guiding message here. "It's in the description. It's Google Drive. The file names no longer have their prefixes. For example, instead of opening R01_2_1_InstallingR.R, you now open InstallingR.R. Hope this helps."
This does not start out well, at least not today. As pointed out in the pinned comment, the file is not right, but the pinned comment does not point out that the filenames are not the same as in the video. The worst problem is that the first use of R in the video doesn't work. The video uses Apple, but it doesn't look anything like that in Windows. The file association is assumed, but isn't available -- you have to create that association with the .R extension. I installed Rstudio and was able to figure some things out, but then the next part of the video is about Rstudio. It would have worked better if you'd installed Rstudio, *then* started using R. As the video points out Rstudio is platform independent, but R isn't, and this video isn't. Anyway, this video no longer works, at least not for Windows, and maybe it never worked for Windows. Most people use Windows, right? Warn them, please.
The link to the course files is in the description. They've since changed the file names - eg: the first file used in the video is now simply titled "InstallingR".
There is no 'R01 Intro Files' folder anywhere so heres what you do:
1. Use the "Course Files" link in the description to access the files within the "folder"
2. There you will find every singular file you need to follow along with this course as pictured at 4:10 of the video
3. Download each to follow along with the tutorial
Side note: This tutorial is not for those who have never used R before. You will likely find it hard to understand unless you have some prior coding experience
Hope this helps.

I actually went through your whole video. Thanks for spending your time creating quality contents Sir!
Hi, just new to this course. It's looking great, I installed R and R Studio and would like to know where to find the R01_Intro_Files as mentioned at 3:59 in this tutorial. I cannot find it on the G-Drive link provided for course files. Please clarify. Thanks.
Same.. it seems that many files used in the videos are missing.
Actually, I discovered that everything is there but they have all been renamed, usually as simpler names without the lesson number on the front. The order I went in was InstallingR.R, Plot.R, BarCharts.R, Histograms.R, Scatterplots.R, and so on.
@@orphica5739 thx
@@orphica5739 specifically, it is named "Packages.R"
@@orphica5739 thank u
I have just finished the video and get some of the fundamental that I'll apply to the R, btw I have the first class for R after couple of mins. Thank you for the insightful video.
I swear this is one of the easiest coding languages I’ve learned.
This is the best introduction to R I could have had. Thanks you very much for sharing this Video and made it freely accessable. I am interested further in R for Graphs and Tables
arr.....this is the first time i have completed a youtube tutorial and i'm going to make a project in R now.Wish me luck.
How did your project go?
@@stinhuffine4422.... I don't know where did it go🤣... I got lost.
This is an excellent video. The audio and video are just on point. Content starts from basic to extremely useful advanced techniques. Well done. ✨🎆🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇
Now I can relax.
I can finish my *r* tutorial in 8 hours.
I can learn whole r in 20 hours.
Now I am going to start r
Let's start 😊😤😤😤😤

right now, completed the course.......it's really the best video of r programming for everyone.......thankuu so muchh..
this is one of the best training i have ever taken amazing job!
Yours is the BEST video explaining the Linux file structure, and the fifth I've reviewed so far. Thank you. #Kudos #Respect

I feel that - I wish you luck in your studies!
I feel u man. The only value of Colleges these days is in the certificates they give you. Unfortunately companies still place a big importance on a college education.
you are not alone :(
Informative. Useful. Calming. Inspiring. Life-changing. Enjoyable. Heart-warming. Other.
mmmm, if Bob Ross taught R, it would sound exactly like this, and I love it!!
Complete with "Happy Little Trees" :)
Thanks a lot for creating this tutorial. The speed was appropriate enough for a beginner like me. An outstanding video.
I discovered that everything is there but they have all been renamed, usually as simpler names without the lesson number on the front. The order I went in was InstallingR.R, Plot.R, BarCharts.R, Histograms.R, Scatterplots.R, and so on
I want to learn and dig deep into the world of data science. This video is a great help, Thanks man!!
Here R01_Intro_Files is same file named CourseFile. In this Course File, number before every file name shown in the tutorial is missing, which mean R01_2_1_Installing.R is just installing.R now and R-1_2_3_RStudio.R is just RStudio.R and so on.
thank you for this
Thank you very much! Really good for a proper start in R!
This is an excellent course. Very good introduction and slowly explains the basic and make you comfortable with it. Ideal for beginners!
Thank you so much for your course. His pace, rhythm and actual content gave me a lot. It was with great pleasure that I plunged into the world of the language R. Have a good day, good code!
hello. wich file did you download?

Not even 4 minutes in and I had to laugh uncontrollably... Install R...
"If you are on a linux computer you're probably familiar with what you need to do, so I'm not gonna run through that."
Love it and looking forward to the next 2 hours :D
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 was looking for this comment, best line ever
What's a "linux computer"?
If you are viewing this tutorial and you are using it on windows use CNTRL R to run a line of command instead of CNTRL ENTER as he says in the video, maybe because he is using a mac and CNTRL ENTER works on Mac.
Thank you so much!
2 hours of dedication to become future data scientist.
lol
Capture ur mind
I wouldn't mind ads. You deserve to get paid for the work you've put in these videos.
That was a great introduction to the R programming language! Is there a follow-on video for the next lesson?
Ey man, i am halfway into your lecture and I have to give a huge thank you for your work. It is so (insert any positive superlative) good! - Sincerely, anonymous internet guy from somewhere.
May you grow more and cross 10M sub soon!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😍😍😘😘😘😍😍. as usual can't be described in words but thankyou so much
Oh my ,I just hope that my mind wraps around these contents. I am very green and willing to learn.
I think you should move "Entering Data" section to earlier part of the clip.
I feel confused with R's syntax while learning the earlier part of the clip without knowing that.
This tutorial is just amazing. Thank you very much Barton Poulson!
Where is "R01_intro_Files" ?? I cant seem to find one @4:00
Me too😭
I like your teaching style
@Xyilis thanks to you dear sir, I found the file mentioned in the video and I just drop your guiding message here. "It's in the description. It's Google Drive. The file names no longer have their prefixes. For example, instead of opening R01_2_1_InstallingR.R, you now open InstallingR.R. Hope this helps."
Thanks a lot!
Soooooo much value in one single video! Warming up for my Master! Thanks a lot!!
This is very usefull for my minor in data science, thank you very much.
Worked for me
heroic. A+++ human :-) sending you immense gratitude x
Very interesting introduction. Loved it! Not your typical programming language introductory video that barely touches anything beyond the basics
Hi I cannot find the file R01_Intro_Files😔
me too.
me too
Same here
The link to the course files is in the description. They've since changed the file names - eg: the first file used in the video is now simply titled "InstallingR".
Thank you so much for the great video!! Btw, It seems that Crantastic has been removed from the CRAN repository; the site is no longer available.
Fabulous! One of the best R presentation... Keep it up!
