I love how HONEST she is with us about EVERYTHING.. She is just beautiful inside and out. I love watching her, her voice is so calm. The brush cleaner is a neat gadget but I really don't mind washing my brushes by hand. I find it kind of therapeutic (but I like doing laundry too so I'm probably in the minority. 😄) Thanks for providing so much information about each brush. Great suggestions. XX❤
I like doing laundry as well 🤗 especially hanging clothes on the line on a sunny day....I find it very zen and then the smell of the clothes when I take them down 🥰

I don’t wear makeup often, and I love the Sephora cleaning spray. After I do my makeup, I spray it on a clean towel and wipe off the gunk and the brushes are clean and dry for the next day👍

I have a huge arsenal of Chanel brushes but my FAVORITES are from e.l.f. and Real techniques and few NYX. I mean I use these soft little brushes for mostly everything. Plus my sponge for foundation. And e.l.f.'s little sponge shaped like a football to get around your eyes! Bought all BK brushes and sent them all back. hated them!!! And hated the heaviness and looks of them. Who needs those huge brushes??? I have one large fluffy brush from RT if I use some powder.

Love this video, your make-up declutter vid and all your other informative content. Inspired me to declutter and I found some great make up brushes I'd forgotten about (IT cosmetics and Sigma). I ended up purchasing a steam mop after seeing you use one in a video. I liked the idea (esp now) that it disinfects and super cleans. Where has it been my whole life? Fantastic. Also I use E salon, and the flawless finish razor. Life changing items. Thank you Angie!
I’ve replaced a number of my brushes with the BK beauty brushes. I highly recommend the BK beauty 108 brush. It’s so versatile, I got one for my daughter, who loves it as well. It’s great for highlighting, setting the under eye & t-zone. I also use it to diffuse my concealer if it looks a little heavy. My all time favorite brush. As for the cleaner, I don’t have that many brushes to make that purchase. Makeup brush cleaning is one of my least favorite tasks but hand washing with Dr Bronners works perfectly for me.

The BK brushes are magical. I love them so much - especially that slanted foundation brush. That It Cosmetics blush brush is my go-to as well. Oldie but a goodie.

I'm like you in that I have used my Wayne Goss brushes since his first anniversary brush release. I use those at home along with my rephr set. For travel I use my IT and BK beauty brushes as the synthetics are not as expensive as the natural hair ones. I do have a few one off brushes like an ELF one here or there in my travel kit as well. I did declutter my brushes last summer and gave all of my others to my daughter and DIL who is a MUA. I just wash mine by hand with a solid brush soap and dry in my two brush racks. I also recently bought two of the Real Techniques brush racks that stick to your mirror. They are nice for just washing a few at a time.

Re your contour brush, you can put a bobby pin at the end of the brush so you can contour just the cheeks, then take off the bobby pin for larger spaces to contour.

I love the BK beauty foundation brush. I bought after you recommended a few months ago. Cinema secrets brush cleaner then good old soup and water with “real techniques” brush pad work wonders for me.
Another great video by Angie. I have so many brushes that I don't like so thanks for the suggestions especially the Foundation Brush always hated them all. Seemed never to blend right or left brush streaks. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I find hand washing my brushes to be so satisfying, but that Tao brush cleaner is very intriguing 💜💜💜

I have so many makeup brushes and I clean them every Sunday night. I sometimes have to do more on Monday after the first round is dry. I use a drying track like yours, which limits the number I can wash at once. So yesterday, I finally ordered the Sigma Beauty Dry'n Shape Tower. Can't wait to try it.
I wash my brushes manually wearing latex gloves to keep my hands from getting dried out. Then I rinse them and get most of the water out of them with a makeup brush spin dryer.
This is all very tedious and time consuming, even though it's good for my skin and brushes. Looks like the cleaner you're using does a good job. I may have to get one!
In the meantime, can you recommend a good brush shampoo? I have tried many, but have not found a HG yet. Now I am just using liquid hand soap or baby shampoo.

I do under that natural brushes need certain care even you can go longer between cleaning. I have some very old Trish’s brushes that are natural and I still love and use them even though I have added to my brush collection. I agree about the BK brushes as they are great! Thanks 😊

Wow, I got the BK bronzer brush 102 and the liquid foundation brush (101). I have always hated foundation brushes, but now I’m a convert! These are sooooo soft and wonderful! I have Futurist foundation on order so looking forward to trying that with the brush! Ha ha, I can’t believe how many things I have acquired since finding your channel, Angie! Have watched a few more of your older videos today, too. It’s dangerous LOL. Hubby just rolls his eyes. Using EcoFace every day, too!

I have many of the brushes that are your favorites.....I purchased the brush cleaner and pods so will let you know how I like it....Surprised there aren't more beauty youtuber's mentioning this! Do you think the BK foundation one is good for IT CC cream too?
When I’m being lazy and don’t want to wash my brushes everyday I take 1 part alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and 1 part water in a spray bottle. Then I spray a towel and wipe my brushes over it. That way I don’t have a ton of old product on my brushes and my product applies better. My next investment is going to be Wayne Goss. Love the video, I love adding to my collection! 😊
If you get Wayne Goss brushes or any other natural bristle brushes, you want to avoid using alcohol on them. It will dry out and damage the bristles. Natural bristles are animal hair. You want to baby them and condition them periodically.
Which brush do you use to apply your Baby Elephant? The one I use feels way to rough.

I have yet to use a concealer brush I've liked so I just use my finger or a sponge to apply concealer!

The best brush cleaner I have found is the StylePro. It does one brush at a time, but dries it too so you don’t have the drying step.

Great video Angie! I always struggle with knowing which brush to use for what purpose. Thanks! Do you use different brushes for when you use cream products such as bronzer, blushes, and contour? I use a lot of cream products but have not found any brushes that I love.
I mainly use my fingers or a sponge for cream blush, bronzer or highlighter. I used to really like the Real Techniques paddle brush for blending cream bronzer!

Hi Angie! Thanks for all your great videos! Can you also recommend a good eyebrow brush? I prefer a precision angled firm bristle brush but find a brush that fits that description is difficult to find. Most cosmetic companies don't even describe their eyebrows brushes in terms of firmness, so you never know until you order it and open the box! Maybe you can do a video on eyebrows only.
I was on the same quest and I found a gem…it’s the little firm angled brow brush with spoolie on the other end that comes with the Milani brow pomade. It’s my favorite and the pomade is actually really good too lol! I have very light brows so the blonde works well for me even though my hair is light brown. Cheers! I hope you find what you need.
Do you clean your brushes daily after each use?
So much faster to wash them by hand rather than a couple of 2 minute cycles to get them clean & couple more at least to rinse them. Especially as it wouldn’t hold all the brushes at once. That gadget would only be worth it for me if it held all of them in one go. I’ll stick to hand washing lol 💕

I have bought too many brushes by recommendation (including yours), and now I'm not sure which brush is for which. Can you just assume it from the shape and it will work fine? Some brands have label on it (like "contour brush", "blender brush", etc) but not all do. Thanks for your help!

I have followed your routine in the morning that starts with Timeless CE Ferulic and includes the Cerave PM moisturizer. Here is the question. According to The Ordinary website niacinamides should not be used in the same session with Vit. C. Apparently, VIT C doesn't play well with others and niacinamide will actually affect the effectiveness of VIT C. Have you thought about this in your protocol since the Cerave PM includes niacinamides?
