Thank you! And apologies for the late reply, I missed a few of these while I was on holiday. I will try the Tozo and a few other budget earclips in the new year. Thanks for watching!
First you made me purchase the FIIl GS (Lite), now you're making me purchase the QCY model. Excellent reviews and comparisons, you've just earned yourself a new subscriber! I was on the lookout for a cheap but good sounding chi-fi version of the FreeClip, so I'll give the QCY C30 a go. I'll make sure to use your affiliate link. Keep those reviews coming! Cheers, mate!
🤣 glad you've found them useful! Appreciate you using the affiliate links too 👍 I use the C30 a lot, but I still use the FIIL every day for cycling, both are great and such good value. Enjoy!
@@ReganCipher sadly, the black version is currently sold out. I guess I'll hold on to your affiliate link for a little longer, then, as the other colours don't interest me. Btw, does your FIIl GS tend to get shrill and sort of tinny above 70% volume, drastically losing base? The GS Lite do that, which prevents me from using them on my daily commute, unfortunately. But they do sound absolutely great at lower volumes (indoor use only, I'm afraid).
Hi friend, I watched your videos on TH-cam, you are really doing a great job, anyway I want to ask you. I have QCY Crossy C30 headphones and I saw that their sound is a little lacking and then I saw an advertisement for Sanag S6s on the internet but I haven't tried it honestly. Do you advise me to upgrade to Sanag S6s or there is no noticeable difference?
Thank you! I haven't tried the Sanag ones yet. They did contact me asking me to review them, and maybe when I get time I'm the new year I'll give them a go. I actually really like the C30 - I know the sound isn't as immersive as in ear TWS, but I think it's as good as it's going to get with a budget earclips. Soundpeats and Tozo have an earclip style earbud coming as well which hopefully I'll test some time early next year
The ear clips feel more comfortable as the Fit S50 pinched on the top of my ears a little bit, but the 1MORE definitely sound better, although to be expected given the drivers are much closer to you ear canals. Haven't tried the newer 1MORE models yet though 👍
Yeah, spot on. You can't really use them for calls because the mics are far from your mouth, and the only way to fix that would increase the cost of the unit, which is pointless because Huawei already did that and did it well
Really excellent review - I subscribed! I actually bought the QCY 2 months ago from AliEx but the right earbud has never worked, rendering them useless. but what I got from the left bud caused me to think of risking a re-order, but wanted to check out the Baseus first - this review has def helped! One test that would have been useful is the mic test in your office. Clearly both are useless outside (what market is that btw? I couldn't hear the name, the buds were so bad), but I would use in an office environment
Thanks! Borough market is where I test them. My office is pretty quiet these days - everyone works from home so I can easily film footage without anyone wondering what I'm doing 🤣 I think the QCY would be ok for office use, but if you've got lots of talking nearby then that might make its way into your call. The coffee shop test is kinda like the extreme version of that
Thank you! I'll be doing a premium ear clip comparison soon, but the Huawei are definitely superior - they fit even better, the sound is more detailed and the overall experience is just more premium, but I don't think they are near 6x better!
@@AndyLarge Free Clip is smaller, has a smaller case, fits better (for me), has a longer battery life, better sound quality and its mic is Plantronics Voyager level. Of coz Huawei Free Clip is much more expensive. QCY C30 will do for me but my wife needs the mic quality of Free Clip for her work. I suppose it depends on whether you are willing to pay much more for Free Clip.
How would you compare the comfort of the QCY C30 to Huawei Free Clip? I find that the Free Clip gave me some pressure behind my ear (left more than right). Could this be better?
I do not recomend the qcy crossky I'm about to return mine, the sound is awful, lackluster and the left one lost 90% of the volume after two days of use.
@@ReganCipher the seller on aliexpress told me not to use a quick charger and to use something thats 5v 1a. I dont even have a weak charger like that .
@Rickandmorty_com they are just covering their backs. I'm using an Anker Nano II 65w charger and have never had an issue with any of the earbuds I've got here. I get where they are coming from - if the overcharge protection fails it will fry the case and render it unusable, but the likelihood of that happening is very low. Just don't leave it plugged in all the time.
No worries! The monster ones are even worse, haven't tried the Xiaomi but if it's 'Xiaomi Mijia' it will probably be awful as well - 'mijia' isn't actually Xiaomi it's Xiaomi ecosystem, which is basically nearly every tech company in China 🤣
@ReganCipher ooh i understand why xiaomi is labelled on everything now. im seeing a lot of brandless ones that look just like the xiaomi and cost like 5 bucks.. Anyway thanks again for warning me against monster AC600. So i guess the only option is QCY C30 because its louder and bassier? To be fair the QCY is 1.5 times the price of the Baseus. But it come in purple so i may order a QCY! Unless you have a last minute warning? 😅 I will try your affiliate link..
@Rickandmorty_com yeah the QCY is the pick of a bad bunch and actually pretty good unless you have to make a ton of calls. Soundpeats have a set coming (according to some pics from an exhibition in China I saw on Kenneth Tanaka's Instagram!) and there's also the Soundcore C30, but I haven't tried either of them so might not necessarily be any better and will definitely be more expensive! And thanks for using the affiliate link! Really helps make my money back on some of these random buys 🤣
Thanks for the video and helping me make the decision to get the QCY!
Thanks for watching and commenting! 😎
Awesome! Just found your channel and loving the reviews. How about comparing with the Tozo Open Earrings? :)

I got my QCY's for 28 dollars. Cant beat that.

ReganCipher!,Thanks for posting this video.
Thank you bro 👍
Tozo released one too
There's a few new ones been released since this video, I'll try and get them in the new year

Thanks Z! 😊
You did a great job. Kudos
great vid, any plans on reviewing the liberty 4 pro once they come out?
I probably will, but I'll have to buy it and just bought Airpod 4 ANC 😭
Great review !
But do you have any idea about the QCY Crossky C30 vs Soundcore c30i
Thank you! No I haven't tried the Soundcore yet, but I will soon. Soundpeats are releasing one as well, I'll test them at the same time
Thank you for the great review. :)

@@ReganCipher No problem. Donated a tiny token sum through Ko-Fi. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much 🙏 ❤️ Very much appreciated, the support means a lot!
Thank you for the detailed review. It is one of those times where you get what you pay for as both of them are barely usable for conversations.

@jnturner506 not yet, but they are on the list to try in the new year for sure
Superb review. How do they stack up against Huawei FreeClip? Is the sound quality as good?

Difficult to say, I didn't get any pressure with either
Can you tell about the state of sound leakage from these two? Esp. in quiet room
Both leak a lot. They are completely open
I do not recomend the qcy crossky I'm about to return mine, the sound is awful, lackluster and the left one lost 90% of the volume after two days of use.
None of the earclips sound particularly good, certainly not the budget ones, but the QCY sound far better than the Baseus
Is it ok to use a quick charger ?
Yeah the case will just auto-negotiate accordingly - it won't charge any quicker unfortunately though

Maybe - it is on my wish list 👍
