I’ve got a 2021 Ducati Panigale V4S and don’t even get me started on the run in process, lol! But honestly it is an absolutely beautiful bike too look at and a phenomenal one to ride! I love it so much and I’m so happy you got one! Cherish it forever. Also I don’t mind the wing mirrors but they could probably have made them a bit more discreet..
Very sensible on the running in, especially with a high performance machine like that. People say its unnecessary they are runin at the factory but that's just not true. Hate to see a new bike bouncing off the limiter! Congrats matey she's beautiful 😍

Great bike. Love it 🥰 The stock exhausts are incredible and the video doesn’t pic it up at all. I went with the Streetfighter V4s in Grey/Nero after testing both. The Pani was roasting within 15mins of leaving the dealer. I’ll be doing 8 hour days twice a week so the sports position while very comfortable (for a sports bike) would kill me and I’m only 40 and that’s me in my avatar. Agree re the more race spec sp2 and r. Dry clutch etc. ridiculous for the road .great in track
Great video Dave, love the Duke, and they are a classic in the standard red trim as you say, Ive always wanted one but too many other things to pay for lol, so got myself a pretty new blade last year, enjoying that, and like you said, that feeling of the new bike and getting on board for the first time, kid in a sweety shop lol, enjoy and stay safe mate :-)

Coming from Gixxer’s with no electric suites this is gonna be so weird, and the QS up & down has got me wet just thinking about it. What’s your thoughts on setting up TC/modes etc for the run in process.
I just use 5 mate. Being honest running it in it shouldn’t even be a consideration. Just make sure they have adjusted the chain correctly on delivery. Get them to show you what the correct play is. That’s what gave me the issue I think. Now it’s been serviced and properly adjusted it feels divine

I am looking for some good quality mirror block off plates that include the indicators. The mirrors are useless and made of chocolate 😂

Shiny bits on the SP? I don't really understand your criticism of the SP. As I see it, the SP is equipped with performance enhancing parts. And the matte black scheme is an homage to the winter test bikes, which again is all about performance. IMO the matte black makes it more anonymous than the typical bright red Ducatis, that just scream for attention. Anyways, they're all excellent machines. Congratulations with your new bike ;)
We are all entitled to our own opinion mate. I think the “look” of it is personal preference. Not my thing but who am I to judge. I just like the traditional red Ducati. My main thing is 99.9% of people can’t even get within 80% of the limits of the normal S version, so if you’re saying you’re buying it for the performance parts you’re just not. It’s marketing. If you’re buying it cos it looks give you a boner...go for it. I’m all for making irrational financial decisions on looks haha.
Of course. However, even though one isn't able to utilize the entire performance potential of a bike, anyone can enjoy and take benefit from higher quality parts. Better parts for any given platform will probably make you faster around a track, even though a professional racer will probably be faster with a lesser machine. It's not like most riders can use most of the potential of the standard V4 anyway, or even a 600, so why get a Panigale at all?

Ive ridden s1000rr m didnt feel real connection to the bike sitting up too high.must get to test ride ride ducati.did sit on a ducati found it more connected very comf.
I’m not a fan boy but having put 550miles on my s1000rr sport. I can genuinely say it is the best bike I’ve ever ridden. I’ve put an arrow slip on on it and it gives it the sound it should have had. I would love to give the v4s a go as they are gorgeous bikes but the I rode the v2 and the heat was unbearable so I suspect the v4 is the same.
I have ordered it, the panigale V4S 2021 will be mine too next week :-) ....I have a XdiavelS 2018....I was hesitating with the panigale V2...licence’s wise
Bikes are broke in at the factory, they just want you to get comfortable on the bike so you don't crash before your use to it.. 5-10 heat cycles then give it full beans
There are definitely two schools of thought on that one. Some say what to do, others the opposite. I tend to take it steady or first 2-300 then gradually wind it up. After 600 and first service it’s all aboard 😂

Hate to break it to you but the manual says not to exceed 7000 rpm until you hit 1553 miles. I’ve had mine nearly a year and only done 1200 lol
