  • OK, First of all there is about 10 minutes of driving at the end, if you don't want to, nothing exciting but you can see the engine very smooth, shift points are nice, no popping when downshifting, idles smooth, overall Very happy with results. 0-60 and Rev Limiter at 16:00 in.
    Have not done a top end, only did a 20 minute test drive or so, but what I could tell.
    Temp outside 40Deg.
    Temperature gauge barely over 1/2 way up, always ran nearly 3/4 to hot from day one.
    0-60 Under 6 Seconds, just using clock on video, maybe 5.5. Factory was almost 7.
    Rev Limiter now 6200 RPMS
    Smooth Running, quicker throttle response.

    Well I sent my ECU to Ivan back in April and what a difference.
    It really woke my 18 Voyager Up.
    It was almost 90 degrees today and I was riding two up and bike ran great temp ran just over half.
    Throttle remained responsive and no back popping.

    Thanks for that. It's amazing to me that Kawasaki with all their know how cannot program their ECUs as well as some guy who started in a shed. I've never heard a bad word spoken about Ivan ECU flashes. I'm going to buy a new Voyager next month and I'm getting this flash straight away.

      I agree, I’m sure they are more concerned with emissions and other regulations and less interested in performance especially on the cruisers. My 2 big issues were overheating and there was some sort of fuel cut or timing lag around 3000 rpms both gone when Ivan was done plus things I never noticed like smoother idol and may have shaved a little off the acceleration. My Hayabusa I had, 0 performance issues, that was a monster but every new bike I buy from now on one of the first things I will do is send the ecu to Ivan. Thanks for watching.

    Awsome video, I am definitely going to do the flash on my bike real soon. I normally don't comment but that Hyundai @ 14:50 really annoyed me when he pulled out in front of you. Then again, the license plate on the back of it says everything. As a former New Yorker I concidered his behavior "rude." • @RagerJackOfAll
      @RagerJackOfAll  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly did not pay attention to the version. I'll see if I can dig up the paperwork on it. I wasn't really going for performance was looking for cooler, smoother and had a timing or fuel cut out issue. power wise not much gain but it did clean up a power drop around 2500 rpms, almost like the factory timing dropped, so I gained a little bit just because smoother. It leveled out the idle to a smooth idle and clean take off. The temperature is much better, never got over 3/4 all summer (didn't get out much busy summer) but before hit red a couple times. Hope that helps a little, was worth the money for me.

      Stock windshield, don't really have much of an opinion of it, I do more local riding (just outside Myrtle Beach) not much highway here more sit in traffic or side roads 45 - 55 but when I do get up on the highway can go 70+ no issues keeps the wind off of me pretty good. • @RagerJackOfAll
      @RagerJackOfAll  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, mine was completely stock besides a K&N filter (which doesn't do that much). It really was almost like a new bike. Mine had a bad "lag" around 3000 rpms, just felt like it fell on its face, it took care of that, just felt like it ran smoother, and definitely not nearly as hot. He has a little form to fill out when you send it in, you just tell him what mods if any you have he will tune around that. I mailed it one day, he got it the next, shipped same day, and basically on the 3rd day I was putting it back in. Now he is in SC so am I so the shipping was fast, but his turn around perfect. • @RagerJackOfAll
      @RagerJackOfAll  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did mine without removing the O2 sensor. I have heard both, the worst case is it will create a code on your bike like a car would with an error. Most vehicles after 10 starts without the same error will clear that code. Worst case there you have to take to the dealer have them reset the code. Again I have heard both removing and not, I have not ever heard anyone that actually got a code from not doing it. Hope that helps a little, thanks for watching. Technically if you have the battery disconnected, the O2 sensor is not connected to power anyhow, so in theory, there is no reason to disconnect the O2, just remove the battery cables.

    Any problems with low speed stalling?

      No so far no issues at all. It’s been a busy Work summer though so not nearly as much time riding as I wanted. The only issue I have noticed is some what sounds like valve chatter on cold starts (again sitting all summer could be fuel or normal for this bike) but clears up after a minute or so when warming up. If your having stalling issues I’ve personally talked to them and would think they would be able to mod your idle up a little. They seem to have some great customer service. If you are stalling please comment again on the board so others will be aware and can address to Ivan’s before sending in their ecus. Thanks for watching please subscribe if you haven’t already.

    i'm not gonna complain whether your 12v connections are waterproof. i will say you're not supposed to use wire nuts on STRANDED wire... straight ghetto rigged.

    Wait I'm confused you started the video off by saying it's raining outside you're not going to be able to ride for a week but you're probably going to put the flash unit back in and go for a ride to make sure everything is okay in the rain make up your mind or quit lying on the video

      I live in Myrtle Beach, it can go from Sunny to rain in minutes and back to Sunny.... The video took hours to do... Raining when I stared, sunny when I stopped, went for a ride.... But thanks for watching, I do have at least 100 more videos online, please go thru each one of them and point out any other discrepancies you may find. Make sure you don't skip the advertisements....
