Indians don't need to do anything. Pakistan will break into many pieces. some of which will be taken back by India. rest will be used as a buffer zone against Islamic Middle Eastern threats. Pakistan will not exist or it will be a landlocked state forever fighting 3 front war. We had 4 wars and countless terrorist attacks in India. why do you think India will & should start trade and resurrect Pakistan from its grave? Maybe you need to watch your own video again to understand the stakes.

11:46 India's first nuclear test was in 1974 (Smiling Buddha). 1998 was the second nuclear test (Pokhran-II).
Also, i would like to mention that the civilian leadership on both sides have made attempts at improving ties but there would usually be a terror attack after a thaw in relations making any long term improvement in ties politically untenable.
If India and Pakistan were to normalise ties then the Pakistani army would lose it's primacy in domestic politics.

Yes but on the other end, whenever there was attempts at improving ties the Hindutvas in India would attack Muslims in an effort to start a conflict with pakistans co-religionists (I.e. gujarat riots, ayodhya in 1991 and varanasi in 2021) making any long term improvement in ties politically untenable.
If india and pakistan were to normalize ties then the Hindutvas movement (previously manifested as the RSS, currently manifested as the BJP and indias ruling Modi-regime) would lose its primacy in domestic politics.

It would have faded, if Fundamentalist and Far-Right Political Parties and Organizations weren't allowed to flourish in both countries. They used the British 'Divide and Rule' model, to not only "remind" and keep fresh the scars of partition and religious conflicts but also, successfully take over the central governments of both Nations, through coups and terror in Pakistan and through elections and reactionary fervor in India, where the ruling Modi government holds an absolute majority, despite getting just 33% of the votes, quite reminiscent of Hitler's Slim majority election victory in 1933.
The ruling Indian government not only made clear it's objective of turning India, non Secular, scrap large parts if our Democratic, Secular and Socialist Constitution, classify Muslims as second class citizens (along with other "belligerent" minorities, castes and even cultures) but even to Ban the English name of our country...India. But, If Democracy and the constitution outlives these troubled times, incumbency and a moderate, yet strong government may stitch the wounds laid bare within the Nation, in the long run.
Rapprochement with Pakistan though.....involves another critical issue, that is, Pakistan...or more specifically, the Pakistani Military, whose sole purpose of existence is Kashmir and the issue is also the main revanchist source of it's Political Power and Military Funding. One that it's unlikely to let go of.
Even if all these hurdles are surpassed, Kashmir is still destined to remain divided between Three Regional Super Powers in the foreseeable future, much like once Poland was.

So it's not like none of the conditions were met because both didn't do anything. The condition of Indian withdrawal was conditional on FIRST Pakistan withdrawing everything. Hence the conditions not being met is totally on Pakistan.

The question is, that most don't understand the cause was never about Kashmir, it was always about Pakistani army controlling Pakistan and its people. The British colonial army in India was used to controlling people and resources, when British left the officers in these army where mostly from frontier states which we today know as Pakistan. These officers didn't understand or accept democracy and always wanted a control over the state. They understood Kashmir would be the bone of contention between India and Pakistan and it will be the reason for strong army and control over Pakistan's administration, so they send their soldiers in disguise with few local militia to Kashmir and attacked the Princely state of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947-48. There by starting to have their say in Pakistani political administration. Hence you don't see any democratic govt succeeding in Pakistan since the beginning. Jinna was powerless by the end of his life Liyaqat ali was killed mysteriously. The party Muslim League was ended just within few years of Pakistan's independence. Fatima Jinna was house arrested till her end, Mujib even after winning the election was never handed over the power. If anyone tries to see the history of Pakistan, all the govt Pakistan has had was either supported by the army or was army dictatorship. Even today Pakistan army removed Imran khan the moment he tried to make democracy stronger and away from armys control. Same thing happened in past with Bhutto and Nawaz. Kashmir problem is just to blind side the real thing, which is power control over Pakistan's administration by Pakistani army.

It’s crazy to think that the British of the past were so ingenious in their grand strategy plans. It almost feels like the world was a stage they were setting up to be advantageous to them as possible.

The British usually had to leave fairly established colonies quickly for no other reason than self-decolonization. It was fine when the British had the power to keep regional peace, but they knew political vacuums would occur when they left. Many of the areas they left were not ‘countries’ but regions, often with historically nomadic groups or those with religious minorities. They had to draw lines somewhere, and often to avoid confrontation.

Playing local powers against one another is a tool of empires that is almost as old as the concept of empire. Drawing borders that spawn conflict is a really easy way to accomplish that, a bad border keeps people embroiled in conflict long past independence, what better way to make sure they never grow strong enough to become a threat? All the better that drawing borders is difficult to do well and easy to do poorly, that it might later be attributed to incompetence.
There may be no way to prove it one way or the other, but incompetent people don't end up conquering 1/3rd of the planet. They knew what they were doing.

Instead of saying “India and Pakistan went to war three times”, I would rather you said “Pakistan initiated war with India three times”. That paints a totally different picture of who was the aggressor.
Also they fought four times (1948, 1965, 1971, and 1999). In 1971, India had to interject itself because the East And West Pakistan strife was something they could or contain to their regions and it was making it unstable for India on both sides.
Also, in pretty much all battles, India dominated Pak but agreed to a mediated compromise for the sake of peace.

Neither the British Raj officials (Mountbatten, et al.) nor Gandhi and the INC desired partition, that much is clear from primary sources of their discussions. The problem was the Muslim League and Jinnah's change of heart against unity in 1940. It is telling that Pakistan means "Land of the Pure", implying 'others' i.e. non-Muslims and outsiders are filthy and impure. The very concept is a terrible foundation on which to build a viable modern nation. Today we have we have a perpetually failing sharia military-run state funded by Saudi Arabia + China and punctual bailouts from the international community just to avoid complete chaos spilling over, and a rising toxic nationalism in India with Modi and BJP. Partition was probably the greatest human tragedy of the 20th century.
Trivia: Jinnah kept the tuberculosis and lung cancer that were killing him a secret and pushed through negotiations. Had anyone outside his closed circle known they could have stalled talks until his death, derail them, and keep the Indian subcontinent united. Muslims and Hindus (and others!) would have been stronger together as one India

I totally agree with the conclusion of the video .... why not Pakistan and India can make bilateral relations between each other when There are many commonalities between the two.. ethnic, regional, cultural.
Even religion when it comes to morality .. it's simply needed to dive deep in.
And yes in the present setting the stakes are high and there are many new dimensions than in the past.... but then again the will is all that matters..
We the people also must do something about it..
Taking the example of the European union... European countries in the early modern period fought wars and wanted individual hegemony over all Europe. They were brutal rivals of each other.. but even they came to the point where they made a Union .. .. why not Pakistan and India .
    I believe we can. ❤

The thing is, Junagadh was a Hindu Majority region which exceeded to Pakistan bcz it had a hindu ruler, but India didn't except this and invaded the state even before Pakistan could send troops. But when Kashmir with a Muslim majority exceeded to India by its Hindu ruler and Pakistan reacted by invading it, it wasn't accepted by India. Isn't that hypocrisy

As for demographic change, Sindh and Punjab were also Hindu majority way before partition. But alongside Kashmir, they also changed to majority Muslim due to conversion. So since there is no objection on Punjab and Sindh being part of Pak bcz they used to be hindu majority, there shall be no such objection on Kashmir either

    One important point:
When Pakistan attacked Kashmir to take it over, Kashmir wasn't a part of India. Therefore, India's intervention would have been a violation of international law, because technically the invaders weren't Pakistani army but tribal proxies acting on behalf of Pakistani army.
This made it conditional that Kashmir become a part of India so that this attack might be treated as an internal disturbance of India and dealt with accordingly.
It became a full fledged war later is another story.

Well, they don’t want to lose their power and slander God. You have to confess your sins and repent, otherwise you will still be ruled by Muslims. @@user-mm7zi4ue7d How about this instead - I disagree with the comparison - a more apt comparison - Israel and Muslims: the lands are historically Jewish/Hindu, for last 3000 - 4000 years, occupied with violence by Muslims, and are being liberated by the Jews/Hindus. A few hundred years of occupation doesn't make Israel into Palestine, neither the subcontinent into Kashmir or Pakistan.
I am aware people might not like this view, but the truth is Jews/Hindus are taking back what is their own. The Jews used to say "next Sabbath in Jerusalem" for almost 2000 years, and people laughed at them for 2000 years, until 1947 since then they cry seeing Israel reincarnate ( a very Hindu idea by the way ).
