PRO TIP: Always carry what you need to make a teleporter. It takes up inventory space, but you can always easily teleport back to base and drop things off and pick up things you need. Then just deconstruct the teleporter until you need to use it again. Maybe pin the blueprint to make sure you don't drop off any of the needed parts.
you can revisit the previous wrecks to find different space suit colors, and yes you can take damage from the explosives if too close, pet the creatures to get random traits
Use those drones to sort your stuff! lol. I have 300. 100 of them are always active. 2 super alloy, 1 microchip, 1 iron. Make a platform, make a super chest. Set chest to supply all. Ding. Done. I don't run to the base often unless I need to craft something. I have so many chests everywhere lol. I need food, set a chest for demand food. When I get my food I set it back to supply. Soooo many chests.
They added a very cool new area behind one of the waterfalls, it continues the story of one of the people from one of the wrecks and underground bases that we already have messages from. You also have to do the endings again, they changed the text to be less dystopian on 2 of them.
There is a new ecosystem you can build that catches 4 larvae, several new wrecks, a new abandoned base behind the waterfall and I think they changed the endings.
Not sure if you will see this or not. But there are tons of new areas for you to explore. And there is a cave behind a waterfall that actually leads to something, I didn't have explosives with me at the time.
@Z1Gaming There is a hidden room at the wreck behind the falls. I recall two chests were in the hidden room. Deconstruct the wall to reveal the hidden room. I don't recall which it was but its on the other end of the gamer chairs/terminal seats or the reactor room.
FYI I think the reason you see frogs, trees, flowers, etc., all over is if you have built it somewhere in your save, I believe you can see that same plant/fish/tree/frog go anywhere on the world now.
I found this biome by accident(dropped from the opening on top) earlier before unlocking the explosives and got stuck. It is a very beautiful biome. I will come back as I advance. I'm still in the tree phase lol.
I believe the final suits and the new species are found in the procedural wrecks through the portal. Although there's one more all-white suit to be found in the current area (it's my favourite).
The irony of the waterfall comments - at 11:07 I think he was inches away from a golden crate hidden under and behind a waterfall and he stopped and backed out before seeing it... Edit - Aaaand he found it, lol. There are now 2 gold crates hidden behind waterfalls since the 1.0 update - the other one is in the cascades biome, farthest waterfall along the ocean.
Question have you found the door that takes 5 key cards it's behind a large blockage it took 5 explosives to get to it. I have never heard anyone talk about it.
It was a DOS text based game on a windows 95. but that same week my dad had taught me to play the original zelda on the nes and that has a waterfall secret........ with like so many other secrets
I can't say much about the waterfalls in video games, but since I was a kid, I always look for a chest or heal item under every staircase. 'Cause that's the rule for me: What's the point of your game having stairs, if there is nothing hidden under it?
Out of curiosity, did anyone else start saying "make a base" every time Z1 complained about his inventory getting full? Seriously, I started casually - "there is a lot of stuff here, why not make a base?" - then it turned into a continuous refrain, with me saying "Make a base" every time he spoke. Seriously, I ended up saying that even if he spoke about water or frogs...
Not a single one, i was doing it before any. I was surprised when suddenly one game finally got something behind a waterfall or a sliding rock/anythign else.
"I see trees of red, the frogs are black. Found a new home, dont want to head back. And we say to ourselves, what a wonderful biome 🎶"
Oooooh yyyeeeeeaahhhhhhh...........

It’s funny that you say to slow down because you never slow down at all. Also, just organize you’re storages already.
Well I am going to have to do a new playthrough I think. There is just so much new stuff since I last played! Thanks for showcasing it!
Not sure if you will see this or not. But there are tons of new areas for you to explore. And there is a cave behind a waterfall that actually leads to something, I didn't have explosives with me at the time.

28:20 Thanks for pointing out that spacesuit. That was one of the few I'm missing.

Tomb Raider was my first cave/treasure behind a waterfall.
You can buy 2 suits in the trade station
@Z1Gaming There is a hidden room at the wreck behind the falls. I recall two chests were in the hidden room. Deconstruct the wall to reveal the hidden room. I don't recall which it was but its on the other end of the gamer chairs/terminal seats or the reactor room.
And you to can bathe in the blood of your enemies

I first found stuff behind the waterfalls in Ark survival evolved
I found this biome by accident(dropped from the opening on top) earlier before unlocking the explosives and got stuck. It is a very beautiful biome. I will come back as I advance. I'm still in the tree phase lol.
Spyro the dragon was the one that had me looking behind waterfalls.
there is a area in the area where you have your main base just search along the slope where you enter the wheel zone, no more said. :)
I believe the final suits and the new species are found in the procedural wrecks through the portal. Although there's one more all-white suit to be found in the current area (it's my favourite).
First game that made me start looking behind waterfalls was Sonic Adventure 2. Specifically in the Chao Garden

Question have you found the door that takes 5 key cards it's behind a large blockage it took 5 explosives to get to it. I have never heard anyone talk about it.
First game with a waterfall secret that I played was dungeon siege 2.
Turok Dinosaur Hunter was the game that lead me to look behind the waterfall in every game after.
You need to make yourself a display room for suits/butterflies/fish etc
This game has come a looong way! I need to pick it up again.
It was a DOS text based game on a windows 95. but that same week my dad had taught me to play the original zelda on the nes and that has a waterfall secret........ with like so many other secrets
Kings Quest 4 had a waterfall, but I think it was a movie troupe before then?
I’m not your endgame save do you not have the supply and demand system setup for your drones to sort items? Took me forever to “sort” that out.
you can deconstruct them on your other save once you get the t2 deconstruction chip
skrim had areas behind almost every waterfall
Donkey kong 64. My first ever video game was 5 when I got my N64
This was great! My first game for something behind a waterfall was Guild Wars 2 about 10 years ago (but I'm sure it was a thing before then) :D
My first one was from Ty the Tasmanian Tiger lol
I can't say much about the waterfalls in video games, but since I was a kid, I always look for a chest or heal item under every staircase. 'Cause that's the rule for me: What's the point of your game having stairs, if there is nothing hidden under it?
I've not played this game for 6 months or so. It looks like there's loads of new stuff to play with
You can open up that location as soon as you find all the blue chips pretty much
9:05 that’s the Origin 600i from Star Citizen 😂
Out of curiosity, did anyone else start saying "make a base" every time Z1 complained about his inventory getting full? Not a single one, i was doing it before any. I was surprised when suddenly one game finally got something behind a waterfall or a sliding rock/anythign else.
