Sir,I've read an article which shocked me to the core coz it mentioned that statistically, Indian Doctor's don't make it beyond 60 yrs of AGE,which means that they're under so much of stress & work pressure that life expectancy has drastically dropped down..isn't it an alarming signal and I bet nothing is gonna happen soon😢

The video I was waiting for sir... even though an engineer's shelf life s less compared to a doctor... but as a doctor .. right from mbbs +md/ms + dm/mch + fellowship... we spend 15 to 20 of our lifetime... The compounding effect is not gonna help sir.. why Indian doctors are unpaid for the work we do sir....why sir ?

We are cheap labor, 1 senior rest all cheap junior labor's as doctors no respect as humans. We lost glory when we were dictated terms by mba people, and we were made to put biometric... 5 to 10 years from now, no one will take medicine, and i wish juniors and future generations not to spoil their life in this worthless profession. There is no glory in working 10 to 12 hrs for corporates.

I am also thinking to move outside India. Primary reasons is not about higher salary.
But to serve where there is better quality of work, opportunities to do research and innovations.
    In India, it's highly immposible.

i feel Primary reason why doctors are paid less is because of the coporate culture where focus is primarily on profits, extraction of Maximum work for minimum acceptable wage not just from doctors but everyone who works in health care. In earlier days, prior to coporate culture, doctors definitely worked a lot but i felt were compensated equally as most establishments were small and doctor owned only. nowadays only mba guys are calling the shots and profit is going only to big pockets. despite healthcare inflation at 12-15 percent , doctors barely get a salary hike of 5 percent in big cities, the balance profit is going to someone else! Not to mention that the doctors are made scapegoats for the high charges! we doctors to need to wake up and smell the coffee and take charge! more power to you sir!

Sir, could you plz shed light on the point that whether doing alternate night and day shift duties for a major part of our career can disrupt our sleep pattern and we can have problems in future after retirement? I'm very interested in emergency medicine and intensive care, but this is one thing which really concerns me. I don't want to be a patient of sleep disorders in future. Does it affect a lot, Sir?

If doctor patient ratio increases further , earnings per doctor will keep on decreasing. It has already collapsed in the last decade.

In India doctors work hard to income sufficient money because India is price conscious low paying market . Senior doctors generally work in 2-3 set ups and pvt practice . In govt set up from jr2 to senior doctors don't have to do much work . They just give expert opinions and all the work is done by JR1 and interns . So eventually all senior and junior doctors have to work hard for different reasons.
